@@whosimaushi it's not on the ranked rotation but I'll tell the trick anyway, use viper wall to safely cross to pyramid, if you have no viper, just rush A most of the time, the site is so big it will took a long time for the enemy to rotate

I love playing harbor on lotus. So easy to get a as an attacker: cascade stairs, walk up to stairs then wall to cover stairs, heaven and drop. Also smokes all of b and c. Omen wouldn't be able to smoke all 3 sides of b
B is just really bad to take as attacker its so easy to retake you have 5 entrances to watch its too narrow so a judge player can shi on you
unless the enemy is trash and die 1 by 1
This is a great video, and there are some aspects i really want to try out. I can't help but notice how different your guide is from woohoojin's lotus guide, however. You guys are both insane macro players, so im curious what do you think lead to you guys coming up with almost completely different playbooks?
Looks like their guide is almost entirely from personal experience playing ranked games. Mine is entirely based off of pro games from tier-1 players in a competitive environment.
Both guides seem to have merits for different circumstances.

harbor is an insanely good SMOKER for this map, but maybe not the strongest controller because he doesn’t have any space denying until like mollies

Nah, not a bad map. It is only hard if you don't know the basics of defense. Ascent for me is bad for non pro players. Without comms it's aweful to attack.
Actually if ur in low elo instalock fade and play with ur duelists push a always and get that control u will notice how many free rounds u win
For a three site map i think its pretty balanced. Attackers have the advantage of stretching the defence. While the first point of contest in both extremity is easier for the defenders.
I just wish they would smooth out the wall bumps where abilities and such seem to get stuck a lot. And make it so that not every wall in the map is made of paper mache.
Only if everyone in silver lobby saw this video.. I swear, every time as Viper, I tell my team to 3-4 stack A because my wall covers B and C and if they push C, I can take out at least 2 before I die. But my teams always add one more to C, one to B and round after round, lose A.

The problem I see, and thats my humble opinion, is that this map requiers a bunch of temwork (specially on defense) and sometimes when you are ranking with only one friend its really hard to get your other random teamates to cooperate, or at least listen to what you have to say. On paper this looks like a fun map to play as a pro, with a pro team where every single person knows exactly what the fuck to do. Otherwise it's an overly complicated map for the average ranked expirience.
I've found a crazy amount of success with astra on lotus because she can have map wide coverage. Any reason why pros aren't just attacking C once they find out omen plays tree?
Harbour and Viper are great too. Can literally cover the map with cross map util.

In ranked, the way u win Lotus is by asking high level smurfs to win for you, since Riot still doesn't give a fuck about how easy it is to create a new account and raise it to the comp lvl.
Yeah but that's true for every map tbh lotus is like fracture but actually good

I made an analysis before watching your video and my conclusion actually makes sense with what you said:
I think A should have been the central point, and B and C the points on the sides of the map. it would balance the amount of players better imo. 3 mid and one on each side, and rotations would be more balanced and pleasant imo
