Well in one of my schools, we have a teacher who is exactly like that and waits 5 seconds after the bell to dismiss us. In the other school, it doesn't have bells, so we just leave 5 minutes before class ends and just say bye to the teachers.

6th grade is really fun, and you'll enjoy it if you do your work and avoid drama. One tip is that people are really scared of is losing friends, and it does sound scary, but it's okay to find other people! For me I found some new friends in 6th grade and now we're all besties! So yeah enjoy 6th grade! :))
