🔥🔥Powerful, Nana Sayana good job. Nana forgot to mention that the Asantes gave a fake Golden Stool that one of the envious chiefs made and confiscated by Asante King to the Brittish, and that most of the conquered lands of Techiman was given to Otumfuo's son Nkoransa as a gift to rule over them. Again Nanny was a queen in Asante who was taken to Jamaica as a war captive and grouped all the Asantes as well as other Akans to form the maroons and fought against the British in Jamaica to gain independence during colonial era. The Maroons has mentained most of their Asante cultral practices till date, hence the flag of Jamaica has the same colors as the flag of Asante. You have Maroons in Jamaica, Suriname, Guyana and so on they are all mostly Asantes and other Akans. Like wise Baule tribe in Ivory Coast parted from Asante during Asante civil war and formed Powerful Kingdom by queen Abena Pokua in the Ivorycoast as well. They are all Asantes. Piaaww, very Powerful history indeed, The Asante Kingdom is not a joke and a force to reckoned with💪🔥🔥✨

Nana....she was taken as a slave to Jamaica with her brothers, but she was very brave and escaped into the surrounding mountains and killed several slave raiders who tried to take her back...after all their unfruitful efforts, they left Nana alone and she became a leader of her people(maroons)...and thus later her picture was even imprinted on their currency...but they cldnt properly mention her name, so they called her "Nane"

The War of the Golden Stool, also known as the Yaa Asantewaa War, the Third Ashanti Expedition, the Ashanti Uprising, or variations thereof, was a campaign in 1900 during the series of conflicts between the United Kingdom and the Ashanti Empire later Ashanti Region. Yaa Asantewaa I was born 1840 Died 1921 at the age of 81.
On September 14, 1939, the VS-300, the world's first practical helicopter, took flight at Stratford, Connecticut. Personally I think one has to dig deeper to know our history well cos the Europeans came to the from the coastal areas how were they able to to pick people from northern part of the country and lastly whenever you read about how the various tribes we establish you realise some missing pieces in all of them

This Festish Priest is distorting that history. It Okomfo Tuda and not Okomfo Yamoah, who prophecy the coming of the Whiteman

Maame Grace, how many people did even GOD kings David, Solomon, Saul and the other kings of God kill in their time. Even He who created them. The gods killing people at war is no newa

So Prempeh 1st was exiled in 1896 with 12 other people including including ex chief Kwamim Apia of Mampong. At this point, Asante was under the British that's why Yaa Asentewaa revolted as none of the men were doing anything about it. Unfortunately she followed the King to Seychelles in 1900. I think after she was exiled, the Asantes gave the golden stool to the British as they were afraid of being exiled or being killed. I mean think about it, the took over the Ashanti empire from 1902 till independence. Queen Vic was giving out a hefty reward for it. These whites will stop at nothing for finding the real thing. It's my opinion that if the elders went to cry to Queen Vic (as he mentioned), then it can be said that they've lost the stool. The stool gave them power. I don't foresee The Great Ashantis crying to their enemy if they were still in possession of the stool (this is just my opinion and not factual) If it was still in Ashanti empire, I don't think no Asentehene will convert to christianity or even kneel before an archbishop in church (current Asantehene knelt before Archbishop Justin Welby, Google). By the way the first Asentehene to convert to Anglican is Prempeh 1st, and he did only after Yaa Asentewaa death. He tried to convince Yaa Asentewaa to convert so they will be taken back home but Yaa Asentewaa refused to convert and started a hunger strike, she died on 17 October 1921 (unsure of cause of death). 3 years after her death, Prempeh 1st was allowed back to Ghana after converting to Anglican.
By the way, this Yaa Asentewaa travelling in style with helicopter, I don't buy ooo. 😂. Between 1800s and 1900s The British were exiling over 500 anti colonial leaders and their followers from other countries to Seychelles, so I think they took a ship wai.

Very lovely history, but I can say it's rather the asantis who don't regard the other tribes in Ghana.
