It’s an amazing composition….infinitely interesting and tranquil….I could listen to this all the time for the rest of my life. “Sea Green” is another amazing composition by William Orbit. His music is simply perfect in every way.
I had the great fortune to see Orbit n his crew at the Royal Festival Hall in London - a v posh classical venue - if my fkd memory serves one fella was swinging a flymo (grass cutter) past a mike to get awesome sound effect - Absolute Top of His Game. Genius @ Work !!
I still have quite a bit of Orbit’s catalog to explore. But so far, this is my favorite song. My second favorite is “Sea Green”. I discovered that one back in 2015 but never thought to check out his other stuff at that time. Just a few weeks ago I wanted to hear “Sea Green” again, so I came to CZcams and listened to it. Then this song “Optical Illusions” was next in the suggested videos, so by chance I just clicked on it and was immediately mesmerized by this wonderful masterpiece. I feel it will be hard to beat, but like I said, I still have quite a few William Orbit songs to listen to. Cheers!
Thank you for uploading! Brilliant Orbit song with mesmerizing optics but meaningfull clip featuring Bondi Beach of Sydney. Bin there and swim Icebergs pool. Australia is so cool. Gtz from The Netherlands
Éste tema me causa tristeza o nostalgia. Vanidad
I was a student of a shao- lin master. This music tells me that buhhdism is kind of the best philosophy there is; Be kind and aware of each other, be kind and aware of nature, respect nature, respect others, respect yourself last. This is the only 'religion' that does not advocate violence. Therefore, i am a buhddist. or however you spell it ;P
Finally, work by someone who's prolly smoked as much skunk as me. This music, those visuals, maan that's genius. slowing it down a beat is class too. Should try this vid trick with other genre of music, classical is ripe Fo' a plucking
Optical Illusions, very fitting, I can't figure out why it seem's to me these people appear to be about an inch or two high ! I know the film is sped up and parts of the vid are out of focus but is this why ? Truly an optical illusion, great music as always by Billy O.
tilt shift is the technique. lenses that increase blur from centre vertically and or horizontally. it can be done in software too and manually in pshop or gimp. proper optical effect using real special lenses is best last time I played around.
Can someone please find its link on Spotify, or send me the complete description of the song. I was unable to add it to my regular playlist on Spotify. Thank you :)
One of my late brother's favourites. God I miss him.

Orbit... someone you've never heard of, but have heard throughout your life. LOVE. This is brilliant.
I've watched and listened to this over a hundred times.
It never gets old.
It's only 4.43 minutes long
but so much happens;
it seems longer and we seem smaller.
don't watch. try something radical. listen.
this track is in 3d
visual, and 2 soundtracks

He is good. That's why Madonna wants him to wrote and produced songs in her seventh studio album, Ray Of Light.
Who is Madonna ?
This sounds a lot like Swim by Madonna.
William orbit is the man behind that whole album

+permaveg It's called 'depth of field' and it's an old photo/video technique.
+Kenji314159 Still effective though.
Yeah, to this day still a very powerful technique.
Block out the soft focus areas
and the waves maintain the illusion;
in stop motion they move like small ripples.
