- The reality of Thailand 2024, the unfiltered streets of Bangkok. Thailand is known for thr beautiful climate and sunny weather. Many people visit the Thai islands but the journey begins from the capital cuty Bangkok. Beautiful skyscrapers all around, with rooftop bars and lots of glamour. Bangkok is the city of lights that never sleeps, urban place however behind those skyscrapers the reality is different. There is a lot of poverty, garbage and rats on the street, the real life of Bangkok is here. With over 10 million people living vere, the social diversity is evident. In Bangkok there is a steet life, where people sleep on the roads and you can find a very cheap Thai street food. The nightlife in Bangkok is really good, especially all those rooftop bars we visited. In this video all aspects of Bangkok, the beautiful urban side and the poverty. Enjoy !

New York is nowhere as bad as that with rubbish and rats! I walked all over NYC, I did see rubbish, but to be honest, I would not be able to walk the streets of Bangkok. But it's good you are showing us the good and the bad, thx Alex.

Must say, the "hazy" environment is not just 'humidity', it's "Pollution" . Air Pollution in Bangkok is around 5.5 times above recommended limit by "WHO" 24 hr Air Quality Guide Value 😷 🤔.
I'm afraid NOT my type of city . Give me Singapore any time.

Bangko is my favorite city in the world. It's amazing. You can live in so many areas and have different experiences in each place. There is SO MUCH to do here. Literally the most amazing city. Btw, the smog is not so much from the humidity, more from the pollution, especially from farmers burning their crops. Also, there are many bins on the streets, Bangkok has got much better with trash, but the older locals will still drop on the floor out of habit.

I’ve never been and wouldn’t consider going after seeing all those rats rummaging in the streets! Not to mention the electricity system, it looks so unsafe, a tangled mess! Last but not least 71 euros for one cocktail? How can anybody justify charging those exorbitant prices? (I did like the James Bond island.) Oh well, stay safe Alex and enjoy.
No matter where you are in this world, there is always good and bad sides...may it be the US, Europe or Asia. I think the problem in Thailand is over tourism. Malta is the same way.....We were just there October 2023. There's a lot of people who would want to go there because it became so popular and the host country cannot cope with the demand to keep the sanitation at its best. But I take offense at people saying they don't want to go there because of what they saw in this video. There's more to Thailand than Bangkok. Thailand is such a diverse and beautiful country and it has a lot to offer. I am not Thai but I am Asian who lives in the US now. I know how to be on both worlds. As the saying goes .... THERE IS A WORLD ELSEWHERE. - SHAKESPEARE
Don't get stuck in your own little world!!!! Travel and educate yourself!
PS: With regards to the 71euros cocktail, I am sure there are other less expensive options but Alex and company chose to go there so....
