No estoy seguro. Los jugadores del mundial de 1990, ni siquiera eran profesionales, y le ganaron partidos a equipos europeos en Europa. No estoy minimizando lo hecho en Brasil 2014, pero los jugadores eran muchos más experimentados. Muchos de ellos, con varias temporadas en el fútbol europeo encima. Por ejemplo, Keylor Navas venía de ser declarado como mejor portero de la Liga española de ese año.

I can't say for certain but I recall FIFA '15 Costa Rica was ranked as one of the top ten teams in the world. There stats were hella buffed aswell. I just think that's awesome. Fast forward to '18 USA can't even qualify. It's embarrassing honesty. What a team CR had that year. If some calls went there way or more scoring opportunities presented themselves to CR they could have not surprisingly won the world cup. I mean they took Holland all the way to penalties...on another day CR goes to the big show. I wonder what it would have been to CR to win the cup?

Those of us in CONCACAF were very proud of Costa Rica in 2014. It's unfair that our region only gets 3.5 spots in WC while Asia gets 4.5 and Africa 5. Yes, things will change when there are 48 teams, but based on performance, this has been unfair.
And Europe will get 16 out of those 48 spots
