Yeah, let's ask two questions about the Kardashians and one about Logan to the guy who made the most controversial movie of the year.

Andrew Dodderidge aranofsky was initially set to direct The Wolverine but pulled out. That would of been awesome

The Kardashian question pertains to his film directly. The "safe zone" tent that the crew built for Jennifer Lawrence because of how disturbing the process was happened to be showing the Kardashians' show on a screen.

I loved this film so much. I think it's Arronofsky's best work yet, even better than The Fountain! When the film ended I couldn't move for a while.

This movie was alright. A fail in Aronofsky standards imo.
It was crazy from the start without letting go pretty much until the end. But because of that, the real intense and disturbing moments in the end hardly had an effect on me, and I left this movie cold - realizing that I was bored for most of the time.
As Aronofsky sais here - they basically rushed to do it. I think if they let this story cook for a couple more months, the result would have been way more satisfying, because it is an interesting concept in the bottom line.

It is a poem. The poet writes and has some ideas, but the reader gets different take outs. I assume your "bring me another 6" line was a holocaust reference?

I think the film was about relationship breakdowns. I am thinking Aronofsky probably put his relationships with both Weisz and Lawrence went into this film.

Watched! After watching this I thought it was really lame as fuck!! The interview I mean.....there are so many real stories out there, you only have to look " real stories" up to see that!!!! eg Homeless in America....The struggle is real.....ps with all that Kardashian money, clothes, food, homes, wardrobes, parties, nails and Christmas eve parties I wonder where does the humbleness comes into play..make real movies that are significant without reward or gratification or some artistic credit but because you have the power of just normal people that need a voice to help things change...It starts here people! It starts here!

Aronofsky does not seem quite as deep as the movie itself (or The Fountain, another of his movies). It came to him in a dream...

  • @stevieg667

    Pretentious tat.
If he was truly clever he would make an intense psychological thriller that is also an allegory of the Friends sitcom.
It’s a mark of cinematic conditioning that people can equate being bored for two hours with intellectual stimulation.

Even though I respect Aronofsky very much, this movie was no good for me, wouldn't lead anywhere .... and if it led somewhere ...which was the greed of the writer/actor and his vampiric essence ... I was waiting and waiting and waiting to connect all the dots, which were many!! ...the scenes were very long and violently shocking ....I did not enjoy that ... not at that length, not in that context. I enjoyed The Fountain very much. This one, I felt I wasted 2 hrs of my life.

i was disappointed because you go in there thinking that it is a thriller that won't be as gory- my 17 year old daughter lost it when the baby's head cracked- we had to leave and she cried with terror.

These jews need to come clean as to where they get their stuff from? This screenplay looks and feels like a rip off~~This man is a brilliant director but I find it hard to believe he wrote this screenplay all by himself as he does not sound that intelligent and deep..I would say with certainty it is impossible Aronofsky came up with the idea for this screenplay as he claims..It is an ugly thing to do to rip off others' creative work and never mention them, which is what has become the norm these days

    • @petrsuchman3731
      @petrsuchman3731 Před 6 lety

PersianWoman How can you just say something like this not knowing Aronofsky himself? You don't see in his head. Your commentary is just one of things, why this movie was created. Don't you see it? Try to think about the movie again and now try to think more behind it.

+Petr Šuchman what i say is comletely logical i have reason to believe not only this story idea but also countless others are rip offs in one form or another...i also believe the original concept may have used mother as the symbol not for earth but for zion itself..
