Gotta love magnus trying out AI theory as severe as this one against another super GM. Kudos to MVL for keeping his poise and converting the material advantage.
yes but he literally lost as white, that's a big deal for Magnus.
@@RaniaIsAwesome agreed!
Very confusing trying to follow the moves as options are overlaid in a diatracting way.
thank you for the video.
but it is very difficult to understand the moves vs the analysys board due to the editing.
Points mean nothing when trying to interpret the position or determining who wins.
Pawns on the 6th rank are worth a piece, but passed paws on the 6th rank are worth more than just a simple piece.
That pawn being in mid board of enemy camp is another factor.
White's Knight on e5 was very very powerful, same with the bishop on C4.
Then the bishop pair.
These are all factors that cannot be placed with a simple number evaluation by itself or in "points".
Thank you for that outstanding lecture but points of material still do mean something.
@@RaniaIsAwesome points of material in a position where control and activity are strongly on one side can mean that you have more points in a losing position
No debate there
With a bit of practice this guy Magnus might become a really good player one day...
I don't think so.
@@robinsinpost Give him time. Chess is all about patience.
Yes, I agree, but this guy Magnus needs to improve his endgames because the game was fairly equal up until the very end...
Magnus brings excitement to chess matches with these sacrifices. He really hates boring chess matches where players are just trying to be very safe. He would most likely win if he played safe, but that's boring to him.
great game, but the video's production is lou-sy
MVL is a machine!💪
did they just miss a much stronger Rxe6 instead of retreating the attacked bishop? threatens a discovered (double) check, and if you take with rook it is pinned by bishop allowing a knight fork of the king and queen.
Is "Maxime" the evolve version of the name "Magnus"?
Cuz it sure seems like that
who do they believe they are helping by referring to files as "lines"?
MVL is the AI.
anyone else heard "he does has a flair for the autistic" 1:11
It's so confusing watching your videos. I have no idea if the players have moved or you are showing possibilities. What is what? It's relentless.
The board becomes desaturated when they are speculating
It's sometimes hard to tell. And furthermore they do non-stop speculation moves as if Magnus doesn't know any better. That is what I meant by relentless. @@knifedreamer
It change the color..Is brighter when they are showing possibilities
Why is Carlsen blinking so often?
Magnus defeats a Grandmaster even at blindfold
Very confusion video, lost it multiple times. Also to manny people talking. Sorry first and last time for me
When did Frenchmen learn not to surrender? Maybe bc Magnus isn't German? 😅
Meatbag puppets manually making moves for the AI.
If that’s your takeway idk what to tell you
