    All these minivans are amazing. In australia now you see a lot of Toyota Alphards imported which is good to see

    The dashboard looks very interesting and I like it. Unlike most cars, it doesn’t get into between the driver and the road.

    In asia, luxury MPV's are the status symbol. Driven not by owner but fully dedicated personal driver.

    In china people call this the safest luxury MPV, it can withstand a rear end crash of a truck and still be fine

    • @choki2ify
      @choki2ify Před 8 měsíci +2

      Nope not this one. That is Zeekr 009. It rear ended a truck and its A pillar doesn't collapse and able to protect the driver

      I didn't even realize that Dongfeng sold cars in Europe because I've never seen one in traffic. They seem to offer well equipped cars for relatively low prices, but no one knows about them. Even those who do probably don't dare to buy one because chinese cars still don't have the best reputation

    When will you get your hands on a DFM forthing v9? That is a MPV PHEV that should be coming to Europe this quarter - but there is absolutely no information on it outside of the IAA motor show in Munich last September.

    I really like Chinese vehicles, but I don't plan to buy any until they change their marketing strategy and structure. Brands that have many sub-brands, sometimes even sub-brands with only one model. Furthermore, new versions of vehicles come out every one or two years, which does not guarantee that the vehicle will have a good warranty and repairability. Nio, Xpeng and Li auto are the brands that I trust, they do not have additional brands and therefore can fully concentrate on developing a good product.

    • @benrgrogan
      @benrgrogan Před 8 měsíci +5

      It's cost saving. Companies sharing their platform/development between as many brands as possible and you can help them lower costs.

    • @sgroque9325
      @sgroque9325 Před 8 měsíci +8

      @@benrgrogan I'm not entirely sure. For example Chery has too many sub brands: Chery, Exeed, Luxeed, Icar, Jetour, Omoda, Jaecoo, Karry, QQ. Many of those brands compete with each other. I think that if they focus on 3 or 4 brands at most, they could develop better products and thus generate more trust, especially in the West. Also, update your products every 4 or 5 years. If I buy a Chery vehicle today, a new version will come out next year and I'll be out of date. Also, some of those brands have too bad names. (Jaecoo for example). An example of brand overdoing is Great wall motors. In Europe, this brand had to rename its vehicles and group them under the GWM brand. Ora and Wey will be names of model lines, which generates more order and above all trust. (Mocha or Coffee were lousy names)

      Nio will be launching Alps and Firefly next year. Xpeng is launching another brand next year too. In the long run I bet li auto will launch another brand too. The local market is the largest in the world and the sheer size of preferences among the 1.44 billion people make multiple brands a viable and sensible strategy. BYD the largest is now showing it's the correct way to dominate. Toyota has at least two brands, VW plenty, scale, synergies, preferences satisfy all these. Kia Hyundai complete with each other yet shown they can prosper globally.

  • @EJFJ-Corporation
    @EJFJ-Corporation Před 8 měsíci +7

    Voyah Dreamer was one of my preferred models, but the inside is not perfect at all, the vehicle is heavy and not effective. The Xpeng X9 with the same inside usability (nicely organized space) has a much smaller and much more secure construction. The Xpeng X9 introduce technologies you should but them and apply in this good model and ask them if they want to propose with a SEPA2.0 chassis, with X-EEA3.0 communication system and the much better XNGP than the ADAS you try to do, a X10 or X11 model with your help for outside design... The Xpixel Matrix Headlights informative lightning system of the Huawei Aito M9 is missing to your ancient Voyah Dreamer and to Xpeng, merge these technologies together with a noce front design as the Voyah Dreamer has, propose it like that and the Xpeng X10 or X11 could use a simplified front as they are unfortunately used to do, but they can improve the inside month by month as they used to do. You are 2 different companies, but allow all buyers benefit of better solutions and not have to choose a bad Toyota which does not have your excellences, but more standard and acceptable specificities, made common in the previous years!
