You are confusing two different groups of men: tradcons vs the more mgtow (socially liberal) group of men. Tradcons (Socially conservative) want women who are traditional : can cook, be a good mother, and to essentially be a housewife. MGTOW are much more liberal: they are generally more against entitlement and what they perceive as "unfairness". Thus, they are against things like marriage because they see it as "unfair" how women are always favored in the courts. Whenever I think of these men 😂 they remind me of somewhat of a notion one of my professors termed "low hanging fruit". There is no point in being with this type (50/50) dustbucket at all. I think the whole 50/50 concept is grossly misapplied in society when it comes to marriage.
It PROBABLY is appropriate in some situations. IMHO, it was never intended to REPLACE the traditional marriage roles in a stable, financially healthy couple.
The present day 50/50 mindset has largely replaced traditional marriage with an ineffective glorified roommate model. Couples struggle to integrate the traditional (and largely instinctive) social patterns with the “politically correct” modern outlook.
It can’t succeed. NOT because it’s wrong or inferior, but because it’s INEFFECTIVE. A spouse/intimate partner is NOT a roommate.
You are only paying for yourself might well be by your self then. You are not getting nothing out of that relationship to make your life better than.

SHERA I just found you today and I ammm obsessed honey. I love the laughs and the real omg. I’ve been Barbara the builder with every relationship thinking that’s how it works. I feel conditioned in today’s world that I HAVE TO SHOW how independent I am financially and mentally so a man won’t feel he owns or has any power over me. Or say “I did this I bought this” if anything goes down. I was TODAY years old when I realized that I’ve been doing it all so wrong. No wonder they didn’t last. I'm a 50/50 woman. In the end it equals to 100 to ME lol, because I'm not splitting ish with a man. I'm not getting in no long term relationship and I'm paying rent or doing stuff like that. No maam. I do it all now by myself, can get pretty much all I need/want and don't rely on no one. And for the fact I've been around men that were willing to provide or at least, the minimum on dates I paid for zero and they'd get mad if I even insinuated paying, I can't get with a 50/50 man.
