Carmen Can You Not there is no main character in that film. Harry, fionn, aurien, jack, cillian everyone plays small part & in combination the story develops. All of their characters are important & special.

I feel bad for Harry and Fionn. I mean, Fionn has to deal with the fact that 90% of the time the attention is drawn to Harry, because he is already worldwide famous. The American media and media in general only care about ratings. The more they focus on Harry, the more ratings they get because he has a huge fan base. Simple as that. It's all about money.
ryan francis I think why there was all white people was because most British soldiers during the WWII were white. I think they were trying to be historically accurate and placing a POC wouldn't help them in that particular area.

The film is told from the perspective from Air, Land & Sea. Fionn is the lead character from the perspective of land, Harry Styles is a supporting character from the perspective of land. Just because Harry Styles is in the film, does not actually mean he's in the main role.
My opinion after watching #DunkirkMovie >>> everyone is lead role in this movie....you will understand after you watch it.

The questions didn't went into Harry mode. He didn't talk about his music career or anything irrelevant. All he answered is about the film & the experience about the film. Harry always looks at Fionn when he answers a question means he is giving priority of Fionn's opinion. I see nothing wrong about it

This is a horrible interview. It's sad that Savannah and Hoda acted like school girls instead of professional journalists. Very disrespectful to Harry and Fionn. Harry may have been famous for being handsome but now he's trying to do more with his career and should be treated as a peer and as a professional not as a heart throb. Really sad.

He has charimatic personality which made him worldwide famous. Now he's one the most famous popstar on the planet & a successful actor. His album debuted no#1 this year so far. That's not bcz of his looks.

Okay so I gotta say, these two interviewers are the worst and most unprofessional thing I've ever seen. I know harry is famous and I love him and 1d and like I'm a huge huge huge fan of him and the others but this isn't about him singing or dancing. It's about the movie where Fionn is in as well and more than Harry. Fionn must feel so miserable and not appreciated and Harry must feel so bad bc ppl always ask him stuff and they focus on him and ask him stuff that doesn't even have to with the movie. I just hate the way this is becoming. This is a war movie. Harry is in it, yes but it's not about him.

Fionn Whitehead was remarkable, and phenomenal in the film. I loved the film a lot. 10 stars! My favorite actors that were outstanding were Fionn Whitehead, Tom Hardy, and Cillian Murphy! Love them three so much......... Fantastic job you guys!
I absolutely love Cillian Murphy. He is such a fantastic actor. In this movie, everyone was on par with him. They were all fantastic. Such talent in one movie. That was why the film went big. Because it was fantastic all around.

I've just seen Dunkirk tonight, they were both amazing but Fionn really was so incredible, so natural and real he should be absolutely worldwide after that, can't believe interviewers aren't appreciating him more, what a wasted opportunity!!
this is one of those rare, off the cuff, genuine TODAY interviews that i havent seen in a while.
and Harry can speak / react a bit freely because he is friends with Hoda, otherwise he would always keep his reactions and responses in check.
we all wish Fionn would get more questions and more attention, but lets just have him chalk this up to experience, better yet he's just been signed up on a crash course at dealing with inane questions and gracious responses with the best instructor ever: Harry Styles.
Fionn was the MAIN character in Dunkirk but the MAJORITY of the questions were directed to Harry. Yes, I am a fan of Harry AND Fionn, so these interviewers need to respect them and give Fionn more attention instead of basically ignoring his existence.

A lot of people are saying that the interviewers are only asking Harry the questions but from what i'm seeing, they ask the main questions which are not directed at Harry specifically but Harry does answer most of them because it seems like he is a lot more comfortable with the media since he has more experiance with it than Fionn who seems a little more reserved

It shows Harry is doing his best to be considerate towards Fionn who is a total newbie to the industry. He seems to let Fionn give an answer before him in many of the interviews. Harry was also good with his acting, so I have new found respect for him. He turned out to be more than a pretty boy with singing ability.

At first I was annoyed with interviewers to pay more attention to Harry but then I realised it's actually quite smart, they're put together in the interviewes for a reason. It was obviously harder for Fionn to talk about the thing since he's not as used to these interviews as Harry, who's a total pro with his 7 years of replying to the stupidest question people can come up with. So Harry is supporting Fionn's here, he begins, Fionn's continues and we don't see how really uncomfortable he is. I might be mistaking, of course, but I think it was don on purpose and it worked out well.

You mean he's Acting. Not sure what being proactive has to do with it. He's just being his character, and acting. Fantastically I might add. It just shows how good of an actor he is that he can play sort of a "villain" character so well (though he wasn't really a villain in this- just more of a darker character than most of them), when we all know he's such a sweetheart at heart, and such a beautiful person in real life.
