What a marvelous idea! I love this. I have seen your videos for the washi tape etc holders and it's perfect for this cart. I have been wanting one of these carts but wasn't sure what to do with it or where I could use it. Now I know! This would be great for my crafting/Junk Journaling things until I can have a real room. Thanks, Joyce! They have a couple of cart styles that they sell at Michaels-- one by Darice ($79.99) and one by Recollections ($50). Both are amazing, but I like the Recollections one better since you can add some more things on one side that has the "pegboard", not to mention, it's $30 cheaper. I think that's the one that your daughter got you. Great choice! I made this video, they only sold the plain one. Glad you liked the ideas I have shown here. Enjoy your new cart and happy crafting! Love this & your ingenuity! Great use of a small space! I really like these rolling carts but I'm kinda clumsy so I would need 2 or 3 of these, I would be knocking my scrapbooking stuff all over, I have so much! !🙂 I use mine for sewing supplies, another for my art supplies, my jewelry making supplies, plus I have one in my bath room for my skin & body lotions/products & last but not least, I have one in my kitchen that I have made decorative liners for, that I put my potatoes, onions & garlic in! I'm amazed how many things these carts can be used for! Your idea is great. I'm going to try & use it for my scrapbooking supplies & then I may need another one for my brass stenciling supplies! I do a lot of painting & card making! Thank you so much for your organizing suggestions! You have a place for everything & everything in its place! Thank you again!

I missed this video! I have to make a Washi storage following your tutorial. I purchased the little trays, now have to get the other supplies. I have raskog and one from Michaels that I have loaded to the max. This is a great idea for small spaces. Thank you so much for sharing! Big hug

Hi Elba, it can really be daunting to keep a craft space organized at all times. We crafters tend to work on a lot of projects and before we know it, the place is in disarray. I've had my ribbons like that since the 1980's. Back then they were all country colors. The trays were the same size but they had square holes in them. The small thin ribbons were in style then. But we stored them the same way your doing them in your videos.

this is great! I do have a large craft room but this would be nice to keep my most used iitems in and be able to move it around with me!!
That's right Carrie. I am just using the craft room as storage for surplus...but I plan to purge. I only need this much and then I can just buy next time the materials that I need. I am trying to prepare myself for when we have to downsize again. I am enjoying the fact that I can move it to wherever I would like to work. This is a fantastic idea! Wow I am blown away -why didn’t I think to do some of these things with my Rascog . My stuff is stuffed in there and it is all chaos!! I do have the big magnetic containers on the side tho. But I knock them off all the time! Lol. Thanks for the ideas. Another great idea...I ❤️ them!!! I made 2 of those DIY WASHI Tape holder ideas of yours that are the length of my Serenity/Sanity Room door & the 2nd one holds my many bottles of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Lindy’s Stamp Gang Mists, my bottles of acrylic paints & so on, which are heavier items & they are doing fine, but I also used 3 small zip ties to attach each basket to the sink mat...😊👍🏻!

This is very clever. I live in a one-bedder. For crafting I have a 5 drawer storage cart on wheels I bought online. My dining table is covered with storage boxes & folders. I eat at the coffee table. 😀
Hi Gio, I love those plastic storage cart on wheels. I've got a few myself. I bought them at Walmart. I actually use our old dining table as my work desk. I have tons of stuff on it. I love this idea! I just got home from Wal-Mart where I purchased a similar cart in a slightly dark mint color. It was also available in black. It cost around $25!
The major difference I noticed was that it doesn't have any holes, but I thought of s-hooks as well for hanging your fabulous diy organizer! That is on my diy to-do list as well! Thank you for sharing your great ideas!

Amazing how much storage you get. I have been trying to figure out which base I should go for. I have Michael's which has one like that and a more expensive one. Walmart, Target, and Amazon. Your video has helped me to have a critical way to evaluate which will work for my situation. TFS
