Adam Cole's contract was not up for weeks it was up for literally a few days his contract ended the Monday before after the NXT takeover show Antigo Guerrero is not that good especially at his age Rusev is never really going to get over you can't cut a promo and he sounds like a jackass

Adam Cole's contract expired and he left WWE on good terms, his wife is in AEW so it makes sense

You can't be an actual wrestling fan and not at least give AEW a chance. Impact has a fucking SOLID card for Bound for Glory at the end of the month too that I'm really looking forward to. I'd say it's an even better time to be a fan than back in the 90s when pro-wrestling was main-stream entertainment, because there's so many options.
"Traditional" style? Watch WWE. Flippy shit but good stories? AEW. Absolutely batshit wtf? Lucha Underground is still archived on the internet. Deathmatch violence? GCW is gaining ground. Traditional but bit more amateur? Impact has kind of taken that spot from RoH, but still really good...
Pro-wrestling has something for everyone that wants to like it, you just have to find your flavor.

The cinematic matches were great (Boneyard and Firefly) but...the main event title matches...omg. They literally did the same match for both nights: Champ hit his finisher 3 times, challenger kicks out. Challenger hits his move 4 times, pin, title change.
That was the moment I was finally and fully done with WSE. There is so much beyond the MeekMahon kingdom that doesn't get the attention that's deserved/earned.

He doesn’t even watch wrestling. Honestly as an AEW fan I’d rather not have a bunch of casuals watch. That’s why WWE is in the state it’s in. If you ask people about wrestling they’ll talk about how they “used to watch” and probably name a ruthless aggression era wrestler.

He's occasionally called Tommy End, but he wrestles as Malakai Black. The story is, Malakai is a deity that's using Tommy as a host body. Like Bray Wyatt's stuff but way better. He's lowkey a creative genius. You should watch (maybe react??) to this video that'll tell the story. It's titled "Aleister Black: WWE Evolution and Malakai, Explained".
But better than Bray? Mmm idk about that. Bray’s story with the fiend lore wise is pretty amazing. Even stems from that 2016 horror story. I
@@LouieDaShortie AEW lets Tommy tell his own story unlike WWE, who constantly got in Bray's way. If Bray had complete control it would've been the best story in wrestling history imo.
@@LouieDaShortie Malakai has more layers then the fiend in my opinion. Even down to the mask he wears to the ring is a huge symbol. The story of everything that makes up Malaki down to the appearance is little nuggets of mythology of different aspects. The roots of Malaki is more compelling to me than The Fiend in my opinion.

A lot of the older wrestlers r used more like manager’s for the younger guys, the only legend wrestler who still does is Sting and it’s not often, and he actually still pretty good, but he definitely used more to get eyes on Darby Allin, a wrestler prior to AEW not a lot of people heard of but after became very popular to the AEW fans

@@MorbidFayde That Darby v Havoc match in MWM (I think?, that may have been Evolve, I don't remember) when Havoc painted his face to taunt Darby during Mania weekend in...'17? I hadn't watched indie stuff in a long time and that was the first time I realized how easy it was to pull up. Anyway, that match was bonkers, and I was instantly a fan of Darby and Jimmy.
Too bad the latter couldn't control himself. Dude was good as an actual wrestler and a hardcore psycho...hopefully he'll be a redemption story in a few years.

Adam Cole's contract ran out I think the Friday after Summerslam and NXT Takeover and he decided not to resign with WWE and go to AEW don't blame that man at all.

So to explain some:
#17 Jake Hager (formerly known as Jack Swagger) he was in WWE from 2008-2017. He was a former world heavyweight champion and after he left WWE, he went to a short stint of MMA and other wrestling promotions.
#16 Chavo Guerrero, he was in WWE from 2001-2011. He had major moments in WWE when it came to feuding with the likes of Rey Mysterio and a bunch of cruiserweight wrestlers. He also is the nephew of the late Eddie Guerrero. He and Eddie were a tag team known as the Los Guerreros and became tag champs. After he left WWE, he went to other wrestling promotions from TNA and Lucha Underground.
#15 Awesome Kong, (formerly in WWE as Kharma). She's been known most in TNA and a brief stint in AEW. She dominated the squared circle by having high profile matches with the likes Gail Kim, Taryn Terrell, and other women. She also appeared in one Royal Rumble match in 2012. She also dominated in Japan as well.
#14 Shawn Spears (formerly known as The Perfect 10, Tye Dillenger) He was in WWE from 2013-2019. He had a bunch of matches in NXT and SmackDown. People wanted him to become the U.S. champion but never happened. He even entered in the 2017 rumble as entrant #10 in reference to his Perfect 10 gimmick.
#5 Adam Cole, you already know, NXT wrestler. But apparently what happened was his WWE Contract had expired and thus he decided to join AEW. Same similar scenario to Daniel Bryan. Also Adam Cole has had history with AEW wrestlers, Kenny Omega, the Young Bucks, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows because they we're apart of this stable known as the Bullet Club in different promotion from ROH and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Adam Cole now is teaming with them again under the name "The Elite".

Chavo is Eddie Guerrero's nephew or cousin IIRC. He was part of the La Familia stable in 08/09 with Edge, Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder (The Edge Heads). Their biggest rivalry was against The Undertaker. That feud started at Wrestlemania 24 and ended around Summerslam or even past that if One Night Stand was after Summerslam. It's been years since I've rewatched that feud, but it was the one that got me back into wrestling as a kid.

Jon Moxley is one of the reasons why I became a fan of AEW and his Dirty Deeds-move actually has two names these days - the most common name, Paradigm Shift and in New Japan Pro Wrestling it's called Death Rider.
