If anyone is new to Steve's channel, you won't be disappointed. I picked the guitar back up about 3 years ago after not playing more than 11 years. I am playing better than ever because of his lessons. Check out his lessons on Modes and Relative Minors. My acoustic and electric guitar playing is so much better now because of those lessons. There are two other guys on CZcams who have great lessons. All I can say is thanks to Steve Stine for helping me figure things out that have taken me years to even understand, mainly Modes.

What I really really appreciate from Steve Stein - whether on this channel or on his own channel - is that he really tries to teach. He shows every detail, every string, slowly, so even a beginner can understand it. I regularly watch few guitar channels (I'm a beginner) and on other channels I feel that sometimes people there try to show off that they can play something rather than trying to teach how to do it. Or maybe because I'm still a beginner it is too hard to understand it. Anyway - Steve Stein - thank you very very much that you are not one of those people and you focus on teaching rather on showing off. :)

Ok I have been wanting to learn finger picking. This video I can actually see what you are doing! ..unlike other teachers. This 55 year old lady just might finally learn how to fingerpick. And I have always worried about fingernails. Mine are just not strong like when I was younger. Seeing that you don’t have nails is encouraging for me. I will have to record each of my sessions to show progression. Thanks Steve.

Thank you so much Steve, Ive been stuck in a bit of a rut recently and didn't really know where to start my fingerpicking journey. Thoroughly enjoyed your lesson and now to practice. The bonus is I love 'Dust in the Wind' so its a win win.
