I feel like the ending is even more brilliant because she is directly breaking the 4th wall and looking at us, the viewers, who have been watching her all along throughout the whole movie. In a way, the viewer can also be seen as a stalker

There was a very important scene at the end where nabi is being taken out on a stretcher and the scene shows her receiving a text from her bsf saying "let's meet up tmrw" showing that even without the police showing up the killer had to keep his word and let her go since she was reached out by someone in 24 hours
I studied cyber security in CS class, and something I make sure to do is turn my microphone off any time I do not need it. Also some people also cover their camera so that can also be something you can do to keep yourself safe. Honestly, in this day and age, it's not paranoia anymore, it is about keeping yourself and your loved ones safe.

It says online that for apple devices, depending on the app you are using, you can swipe down and there should be a toggle to turn your microphone off. For example, face time calls. I personally could not find a way to turn the microphone off whenever you want, however, I may have missed something.

But I feel like the ending (mine) is not that great. In the beginning its alot of building of 'who is gonna die?' and feel like a thriller series. But in the middle its just feels like another husband cheating and wife revenge drama. Maybe I was expecting something like 'lies in my garden'. Idk..

one thing i love about this movie that wasn’t mentioned is that while nabi is in the ambulance she receives a text from her best friend, so she would’ve had a text in 24 hours and he didn’t ruin their connection
I felt bad for the Nami 😭 Dude was taking shots at everyone around her, and everyone thought it was her, then tried to kill her and her dad 😭 This movie was FANTASTIC!! I might watch it again tonight ngl

After I watched this movie, I realized why my dad never let us repair our phones and prefer to buy us something new instead. Also, we never throw away our old phones or sell it like we literally keep everything in the house even if it is broken, we even have an iPod from over 10 years ago.

You know a script is written by a man when every man is super smart and powerful and every woman is as stupid and defenseless as it gets. Also why did the dad detective even think his son is a murderer from the get-go? If it's a completely different person, then he never showed signs in person, every parent would be sceptical if all they found was indirect evidence. He never phoned with his mom? Only text for a decade? The girl doesn't get charged for murder? No background reveal of why he did it? Very letdown plot.
Rotten mango and BAMs are two of the most favorite parts of my days 🤧❤️
I think this movie made everyone who watched it, Afraid of sitting their phone down in public and afraid of taking their phone to get fixed💀😭

I’m glad this movie was made because it helped my friends realize how much we put into our phones. For the last few years I’ve covered the camera on my pc and laptops because I got freaked out when my camera opened randomly [something faulty with my system] then after I do it out of habit. Even my phone I try to keep away from me or cover it and have double identification logins to get it 😂
Paranoid? Yes. But I think it’s an ok level of paranoid; it makes you more aware of your surroundings as well. [at least to me😅]
I watched it on Netflix the serial killer didn't die, he was shot but not dead. The detective was talking near the end of the movie stating that the serial killer was not registered at birth so he doesn't have any identity and they are going to wait when he wakes up so they can ask him for his name and any information about him.
STEPHANIE!!!! A k-drama I think you would love and should do a BAM on is “it’s okay to not be okay”! It has romance and murder but also does a very good job at talking about mental health!

I watched this movie when it came out on Netflix . Stephanie telling the story is amazing but when you watch the movie you feel like your heart is going to stop 366896 million times. The girl was smart to write call no text on a paper.

For anone wondering, no you dont need to give your phone password to get anything physical fixed on your phone. Also most people dont know hot to get past a cloud lock so even if they factory reset your phone it's still unusable.
In Germany, if you send in your phone for repair services, you have to sign an agreement that says you agree with them resetting your phone and losing all your data,that's why you have to backup your phone before sending it in.
I had it with my phone, when it fell into a pond and had water damages under the display, so they had to fix and change the whole display.
I did a backup before sending it in and resetted everything and got it back factory resetted.
This movie reminds me of another Korean drama called, "Somebody" (2022). It was featured through Netflix. I didn't particulary enjoy it because it does romanticize serial killers and sociopaths. Very "You"-esque, but it does touch upon the concerning issue of AI usage when it comes to human connections...

!!! i'm so excited to listen to Stephanie's narration of this. Unlocked is one of the last k-movies* i watched before leaving Netflix, & it was unbelievably good. like.. the premise sounds out there, but the progression plot-wise is kinda realistic actually. chilling af.
I seriously had a guy that mirrored my phone back in 2021 and he would mess with me and see what I would be talking about with someone else and then bring it up to me pater on or the next time i would talk to him. It was super creepy.

This one was so intense. You’re so good at telling these!! I rented a k drama all the reviews read it was so good. So it comes on and it’s only in Korean which I’m a dumb American, however it had subtitles on so there I was enthralled in reading this 2-21/2 hour movie. Omg so good! It was a great movie. First time I’ve done that but would definitely do it again for something that good. Suspense throughout.

This was the first of this whole series I have watched, and I watched it two days ago and this series has been the only thing I’ve been watching. I could never listen to anything over 30 minutes before, but you do it perfectly, and I love the commentary and then you get a fun break to taste the food, telling the recipe, and it makes it all so much more interesting. But all the movies/books you’ve talked about I have loved!
Would recommend u to watch kdramas 365 repeat the year, kairos, and beyond evil! They’re all a must watch for me if u like crime/thriller series
