I love it how according to the display at 1:05 the driver revs up and somehow insta-speeds through that 90 degree turn at excess of 100 km/h ! :D
In the old car world we dont care about assisted driving tire pressures system checks etc. We just want Aventador styled gauges

We'll probably start seeing 50% of gauge clusters or even 100% clusters being digital LCD displays within the next 2-3 years. If Kia and Hyundai are making them standard, then it has to be available and affordable for all to do.

It's incredibly difficult for me to comprehend how the designers of these displays completely forgot that their product is an instrumentation display device. I think I counted 2 or 3 of them that actually had a fuel level indicator. Only 2 had a battery voltage indicator, and those two used a % scale rather than actual voltage! And only one had displays for coolant temp, oil pressure and psi of (not sure what). And even those didn't give actual numbers. I mean WTF!? Are there no engineers left? What about, actual voltage, coolant temp and level, engine temp, boost pressure, manifold pressure, air intake volume, trans temperature and level, or Amps, Volts, KwHr, or anything of real meaning or value!? My advice, toss this Shit in the bin and get yourself a good bluetooth OBDII and couple it with a Torque app for your Android device. Or design and build your own display with Qt and photoshop. Hell , even strip a dash you are fond of from a donor car and use CAN to wire it in your own car.

I just want a full lcd that give a sporty looking tac, and apple car play built into it. That way I can see album covers when playing music and I can have full colorized map while driving
I made the designs for two of those clusters the Seamless Hybrid at 2:52 and the Lightscape(R) Digital at 3:38, those are NOT meant for consumer products because Visteon only does B2B business

As far as I know Visteon ( www.visteon.com ) only does business with OEMs like Daimler, Ford, VW, Tata etc.

@@iniuni1447 either this is a joke or your just extremely shallow. Do you know how expensive old car builds get. Just good break kits for track use cost you £2.5k and that’s for the cheaper one. If you get high end ones it’s £4-5k, then there’s the rims, coilovers, turbos, not to mention the other engine upgrades you have to make before you put in a turbo or a super charger. Then there’s the bodywork and paint if there’s rust or damage on the old car. A personal car build ain’t cheap

I think in this video the author not speaking about buying a fully operational car cluster. I think he is talking about the software. You can buy any screen ,then attach it to an android device or any form of OS. Then use software like "kanzi" which comes ore loaded with instrument cluster customization
