SEAN DANIEL, What about if you wanted to use the harmonic minor scale and phrygian dominant scale like Deep Purple plays the blues licks uses these scales which ADDED Chords do you need to ADD to turn a normal blues progression into a harmonic minor blues chord progression? and phrygian dominant blues chord progression?

Sean, what does this do to the key? I though that to be true to the key of G major, C(4th) should be Lydian and only D(5th) Mixolydian. Can you go further and play one of the minor chords also Mixolydian?

Maybe because they are already bar chords that correspond to one of the CAGED shapes.
F is the barred "E shape", and B is the barred "A shape".

I’d say because F and B don’t have open chord shapes that can be translated to chords up and down the fretboard

Kind sir, you made on deadly assumption...deadly for me, that is. Around 8 minutes in, when you said "double stops", you did not name each and every finger on each and every fret. I know, I'm being a big baby and I can figure it out. But I had been cruising along, pausing to play what you played, happy as a bivalve. Now, I'm stuck trying to figure how my acoustic sound sort of might match your amplified sound and staring at your finger, which I never find very useful. Stuck, sir! Stuck, I say!
I suppose if Django could play with just two functioning fingers, I could learn to play with three. But then there's no four-fingered person able to truly play like Django, so maybe not? Another thing to do would be to just embrace the pain. Or try to become a lefty?
Or just sing the blues like dUg (but without the bass)? Ridiculous idea. Nobody can sing like dUg. That's why it was his job to give Ty's song about Flies (and also about Blue Skies) or blues keyes - a kind of eyes - er - oh ja, it was dUg's job to give the song lots of soul, and lots of blue.
