Velocifero by Ladytron is probably my favorite album from them but I enjoy all their releases. I've been listening to them since the first release

My favorite album by them by far is their debut, "604"

Could you review the album Plunge by Fever Ray ?

I’ve never really listened to Ladytron but I’m digging this only three tracks in at 9:11. Have you checked out the band RIDE? Not really similar but when you mention shoe gaze and wall of sound they came to mind.
Edit: seems a bit repetitive. I wish it had gone indifferent directions or gotten “bigger” in certain spots.

Same for me at that part, that section is huuuge, no I have never listened to ride, but i think they are familiar, with the one wave cover right?

Yes! That’s the one (Nowhere) and Going Blank Again is really good as well.

Thanks for your honest review. Even if this type of music is not really your cup of tea, I appreciate your open mindedness for giving it a listen.
I'm totally aware of the pet peeves you got from all those shimmering distortions, reverbs, and walls of sound. It honestly can get really dense and suffocating. I ended up liking it for the synthy, reverbsy, foggy filtered mess it is, but i do have to agree with your take on Hellen Marnie's kinda repetitive singing and most lirycs getting a little too cliché but no band is perfect even if it's a fave.
By the way, I realized how much of a banger "Times arrow" is compared to "the Night"

Thank you very much again for requesting, I still had a lot of fun sitting through that album a couple of times :D
Do you listen to a lot of artists like this, or in this genre? What are your favs :)?

@@luggareviews hehe well I do like Square pusher, Aphex twins, boards of Canada, Crystal Castles, Purity ring, Chromatics, Glass Candy, thieves like us. I've listened some Cocteau Twins lately, they're ñike the father's of Dreamwave or something like that! Liz' voice is heavenly even though her lyrics are pretty much nonsense, but a beautiful one to listen to...
