they did a good job with this song for a group I am glad that you did the original first though to give you good context of the song as it was meant to be sung again they did well I prefer the original but I can see why you like this version.
Even if Lara's interpretation is my favorite, the original version of "Je suis malade" is by French singer Serge Lama, released in 1973. Written by Serge Lama on a music composed by Alice Dona.
I never heard these singers before, and they sing very well. However for me they didn't restitue the meaning that Serge Lama put in it. But of course, they can not know complicated story behind the song, and that's totally normal.
Certaines chansons françaises ont un tel background qu'elle sont quasi impossibles à restituer.... et que dire si l'on voit arriver des reprises de Jacques Brel !

One of my favorite songs... and they performed it as well as I've ever seen it performed. All their different voices are special in itself, but when they harmonize together... it's unreal. I hope you continue to check out Forestella and other South Korean artists. Not sure if you've checked out Park Hyo-Shin yet, but he's another very talented singer from South Korea. I'd recommend you check out him singing "Wildflower" or "Goodbye"...

Hi!
I’d like to recommend you a new crossover group from South Korea I discovered recently. It’s called “Forténa” with combination of four tenors(I’ve heard it’s the first crossover group with four tenors).
One of the members is a very famous count tenor(His name is DQ Lee and played in lots of operas all over the world).
When I heard their very much first cover song “Neaolis” and “Demain n’existe pas“ in a competition program, I had goosebumps everywhere.
I’m sure you would like it and I’d love to hear your opinion about their singing as a vocal coach!
