    Put a small washer behind the brake pad to move brakes closer to the wheel

    Nice bike , don't like the plastic pedals ! I am an American , I live in England and have a 1940 Robin Hood which I restored to original authentic condition . I'll try to send you photos .

      I agree on the pedals. I had those laying around, but I might have something better. The original pedals are in good shape, but they are too narrow for my shoes. Would love to see your Robin Hood.

      It just unbolted. Looks 100% better without the front spring.
