The hilarious part is I used to work at McDonald's at the fryer and everyone loved my fries and hated everyone else's who worked there. The problem with the fries from the other employees was that they were letting them sit in the hopper exposed to the air where the ice was melting and soaking into the fries. If you took them right out of the Frozen bag into the separator that dumps them into the hopper then immediately fry them while frozen for the exact time the fryer timer says then they literally come out perfectly crisp, white and fluffy inside, and perfectly straight. The next part is the presentation of the fry's by not excessively salting them. Then evenly pouring them into the fries "box" thing and giving them to the customer. If they sit for longer than 30 minutes they will start to become stale and/or soggy if you didn't drain the oil from them quickly.

glad to hear that you take pride in your work! my grandfather worked at a mcdonalds in NY for years after he came home from the military and everyone loved him for his positivity and his interaction with the customers. he never felt the need to work anywhere else because he was good at what he did. I guess both your case and his are proof that your position in life doesn't define you but how you use it does.

I have a theory about the nuggets. This is, after all, an employee training game. Preparing a box of chicken nuggets is extremely easy, and they didnt want to waste resources for them on the game
I thought that too. It will just probably be frying them like the fries and hashbrowns and then boxing them up.

@@rewe3536 if it is similar to where I used to work (not mcdonalds), it would be around 3 minutes cooking time in the fryer. We would have to temperature check them though which this game doesn't seem to do on certain things.

Is it possible the Nuggets absence was a result of no fried meets being present in the game? I worked at McDonalds for 4 years, the frying process of the fries and chicken are similar but not the same, perhaps the developers didn't want to create a whole new UI system for the simplest item on the menu to prepare. Every other menu item requires multiple steps, nuggets are by far the most self explanatory, you just put them in the vat, click the nugget button then take them out and put them in the tray when they're done, no seasoning or post processing required.

It uses the same soundfonts as a lot of older Nintendo games. Mostly Roland Sound Canvas samples, with a heap of data crushing to make them fit on the cartridge

The first one in the discord, probably, to even attempt translating anything was me. I posted a screenshot of one single screen that I tried to translate (as a technical proof of concept) and shared a few things I found out, which kickstarted the proper translation efforts of FFVD Games and KabanFriends. Shoutout to these two folks, they are amazing. Also shoutout to FFVD Games, who is also the admin of the community, thank you for all that you have done.
Full respect on that dude. I have to say the drive by this community is inspired to data-mine and dump the games info within only 2 weeks and then kickstart a translation project within that time. Damn, that's dedication right there.
