Do you want to ride a board that is fast, loose, and fun? If so, you should check out the Christenson Lane Splitter!
Lane Splitter has a unique design and features that make it the perfect board for carving turns and riding the pocket. Here are some of the reasons why you should get a Christenson Lane Splitter at hawaiiansouthshore.com:
    • Christenson Lane Splitter provides great stability and control, making it ideal for surfing in a variety of conditions. It has a healthy concave accentuated by stinger-style wing tips that split down the middle by vee, combining speed down the line with easy rail-to-rail roll.
    • Christenson Lane Splitter has a swallow tail (only at hwnsouthshore) that really emphasizes the twin fin experience. It gives the board more bite and drive in turns, as well as more release and maneuverability in the pocket. It also adds some extra volume in the tail, which helps with paddling and planing.
    • Christenson Lane Splitter is shaped by Chris Christenson, one of the most respected and versatile shapers in the world. Chris creates a range of high performance shapes from grovelers to big wave guns, and his boards feature flawless glassing and gorgeous finishes that make them true functional art.

I just picked this up with the square tail, to be honest it’s more like a thumb tail, pretty narrow.
I’m 92Kg and used to ride the 5’11 36L RNF96. It was a great board but felt a bit boxy, could catch waves like crazy on it.
Picked up the 5’11 lane splitter and it feels like a weapon. Hope that it floats me as it’s about 35.4L, should be enough.
Thanks for the video, got me pumped for my next surf sessions here in Aotearoa. Chaaahooo

    Nice talk guys 🔥
Coming from a RNF96 (32lt), intermediate surfer, 155lbs, looking for a performance board but less volume than my current board (sometimes feels too floaty when waves are good) what’s size would you recommend me ?

What construction and size is the RNF?
      Where are you usually surfing?
      Are you here in Honolulu?

@@hawaiiansouthshoreI’d like but unfortunately no. Lib tech construction, 5.7, usually surfing beach breaks around french southwest coast (Basque Country and Landes). Cheers

If you looking into the Lane Splitter he has two size in your rage
      5’8 19 3/4 x 2 9/16 31.1L
      5’9 19 7/8 x 2 5/8 32.52L
if the current 32 feels like a litle to much float go for the 31L.
The Libtechs float close to a regular Poly so I think that will be OK
You can always change then fins on your RNF96 Libtech V32
If your surfing it as a 2+1 try the Fanning Twin+1 link below
      www.hawaiiansouthshore.com/products/fcs-ii-mick-fanning-twin-1-fin-performance-core-white?_pos=1&_psq=fanning&_ss=e&_v=1.0
The leading edge of the fins are rounded so it make the board sit , not make it feel so floaty and how thru turns.
Here is a reveiw that might help

@@hawaiiansouthshore Thanks guys that was very helpful.
I have the chance to get a 5.7 swallow tail 29.3L for a reduce price, would you consider would be too big the jump (volume) ?considering I want it for surf fair to good conditions in a range 3-5ft.
Thanks for the advice I currently surf MR 2+1 but I gonna have a look on the MF review. Cheers

@@felipep2666 it all depends on your paddling power, if you're surfing it on beach brakes that are not very powerful. I wouldn't go down too much but if you're surfing, a reef break in a shallow you'll probably be able to get away with it but when the waves get better and you're sitting in a deep water break. It might be harder.
