this came just in time, i’m literally about to wash my hair so i can get box braids tomorrow!!!
Dang I should have wait until the video, got my box braid Wednesday💯👍🏾✔
Same here.. Quick and slightly silly question, does it last as long as normal braids? Or would it sorta start unbraiding😬
@@mariafailli5558 box braids last a month for me and it won't unravel
For anyone who doesn't have any sort of heat like a blow dryer, here's a tip that worked for me. So after I washed my hair n put in a leave in I separated my hair into four sections then did some plats. Once the plats were dried or dry enough I undid them n brushed each of them out. Then I rebraided them into smaller sections of plats which gave me two per section. Then I went to bed with no scarf. I unbraided my hair the very next day n everything was stretched n dry. I did comb my hair thru with my fingers after unraveling them too. Now I'm wearing box braids :)
"Take one 📦 out it in another" lol loved that show
I just got my hair braided earlier this week, and I did the bond salve, too. Glad to know I'm on the right track😉💜
Ugh I love when she does these . I’m getting my braids Friday so this is JUST in time !
I lol 😂 when you started singing “out of the box” I literally was singing that the other day
I know the song, but I ain't old for the record.
😂👏🏽
Thank you for this because I’ve been wanting to get protective styles done but don’t want a hairdresser to blow dry my hair this is so helpful ! 💕
Bianca you look so cute in braids. Loving this switch up
Aww thank you!
Bear n the big blue house, loved that show
Not me doing the hand movements and singing “so long farewell” 😂😂
Classic
@@shaepoppinkurlzdc1862 for real! That song will always go hard 👏🏾

Out of the box, out of the box! Lol I started sing it with you !
question: I am thinking about putting in braids for my vacation to Mexico. How do they hold up after getting wet? should I protect them from water? if not how do I care for them? I can just imagine having 5 lbs of wet braids on my small head lol
Braids should be fine in the water but you can put them up in a bun in top of your hair to avoid them getting wet and you can dry them with a towel or tshirt so you’re not walking around with soaking wet hair. There are a couple brands that sell products you can use to maintain your hair and scalp while in braids (like girl and hair, TPH by taraji, head and shoulders and even curlsmith). You can search for braid maintenance videos on CZcams as well but I’ve seen people use a foam to kinda restore their style
🎵 Goodbye for now until we meet again 🎵I still have my Out of the Box VHS tapes. I’m haven’t watched them in 15 years bc I don’t have a VHS player anymore but I have them 😂
I'm almost always in protective styles cause I'm a hijabi and leaving my hair in a fro under hijab or a puffy Ponytail always look odd on me. Then I noticed that once I'm not in protective styles for too long I get headaches. You looking fabulous as ever MzBianca
I have twice tried protective styles (1st senegalese twists) second braids. Both time after a week my scalp was so itchy and flaky I had to take them out (I tried adding oil, i tried cleaning with the sprays that say they are specific to scalp issues) . Also by day 8 despite wearing a silk bonnet and sleeping on a silk pillow they started to frizz. I would love tips and you giving an update after a few weeks of wearing your twists.
You look so cute with twists! I’m eager to know how long they’ll last.
😍😍😍 Yes! Protecting the curls! It looks so good on you
You should totally do a braid out at some point! It looked so cute!
I’ve always loved the protective hairstyles but have been to scared of damaging the hair right at the root. My hair is super fine, so do you think that would weigh down my hair at the root so much that it would break off?
That's the concern I have. I'm mixed and I have pretty fine hair.
Make sure you ask to get them braided loosely so that there is less tension at the roots and if possible, ask to put a minimum amount of added hair to get the individual braids lighter.
Knott less braids :D
Lmao my reaction anytime i use anything from the protein line! I LOVE the smell! Love the twists!
Perfect time because I'm getting twist tomorrow morning so I'm washing g tonight
OMG!!! Thank you for this video, I always after cleaning my scalp and moisturizing blowout my hair straight before braids. This is such a great alternative and much easier than blow drying!!
This is EXACTLY what I want! Please keep us updated on your upkeep of your twists
Can't wait till your next video!
I recently tried the curlsmith scalp care wash day system and loved it. Definitely will be using it when I (hopefully) get braids in August
I felt it when Bianca said she can only do the regular shmegular 5000s, cuz that’s me !
😂😂❤️
Okayyy! We see you you look fly! Get it girrrrrrl!

I sing outside the box all the time 😂 I catch myself doing the hand rub, fingers snap and clap too, it has become one of those things you don’t realize your doing yet your singing it to yourself 🤣 the good old days 🙏🏼🤌🏼👏🏼😜
Out of the box!!!!!
I stretch my hair like this too (well with more braids of course lol) and if it’s not as stretched as I want it to be I’ll brush it out and rebraid it
Love the twists on you!!!! And loved that out of the box ref. Now the song is stuck in my head. 🤣
I'm not old but I know where that song is from 🤣 I will be trying faux locs for the first next week, so thx for the video

Also how do you prevent product build up and having your hair smell? That is another problem I used to have, within the first week my scalp would be itching like crazy and it also would smell after a couple weeks. How do you prevent that?
I’ve just done my first protective style. Thank you for your video. I used your previous videos as reference on what to do. 😊
Perfect! Happy to help!
Yoooo out of the box!!!
Out of the box!!! Loved that show
Out of the box, out of the box 🎶🎶
Bianca with twists: stunning! 🙌🏻
Out of the box! Love the twist
The twists looked soooo good. I need that big hair after you fully dried and stretched it as a look.
I didn’t see the scarf on the site, I hope they still have some in store. Enjoy the weekend!!!!

How heavy does it feel?and how do you protect from from frizzing up and sleeping for one whole month love the twist 🥰
You should get a RevAir! I know it’s a bit pricey but it blows out your hair without heat, but instead with vacuum technology, and it takes literally no more than 30 minutes
You look gorgeous love love your twist 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼😍😍😍
I wish this came out yesterday LOL, I just got box braids for the first time today 😂
The Moon, the Bear, & the Big Blue House!💙
Love the twists!
Yaasss!!! Love it!! 👏🏼👏🏼
These look gorgeous on you !!!
OUT OF THE BOOXX!!
Just shared this with my friend. We just talked about her getting twists.😉
How do you care ( moisturize) your hair in a protective style and keep it clean? In the past I used to get protective styles but I stopped because my hair would break off because I didn’t know how to keep it moisturized in a protective style. How often do you wash it and moisturize it? And how do you moisturize it without messing it up? Also how do you prevent tension which I had a lot of. Help please 😬.
It looks so good!
GORGEOUS!!
Out of the box was for the Real Reals okay!
Goodbye, for now, until we meet agaaaain! 😹
Hello Ms.Bianca Renee. I hope you have time to read this and reply. I really need some good advice on picking or helping pick the right shampoo brush. My husbands hair texture or hair type is like yours and I need help picking a shampoo brush for him he said he doesn’t like mine because it doesn’t go through his hair. I have a finer looser curl hair type. Is there any way you could help me or guide me. I saw tangle teezers new exfoliating shampoo brush I was wondering if you thought that was a good one or if you had any other suggestions. Thank you in advance if you do get to read this long message 💖
How do you prevent/lessen the itching over long period of time? The most I've ever gone was 2 weeks without fully washing.
Be very mindful of how you are maintaining your scalp once you get your style! Some scalp products create more build-up and aren’t as effective as others.
I REALLY want braids but my scalp is really really sensitive. The one time I got weave (many years ago) I cried for days and stayed on Ibuprofen. It was terrible. I would love to wear braids on my next vacation. Is there such a thing as loose braids? 😂 Are there recommendations on what to ask for from a stylist/prep/etc for people with really tender heads?
you look just like a Jamaican goddess in those braids...so cute. 💗
I’ve never had a protective style. I’ve always wanted twists. Yours looks so good!! How long do they lasts and what do you do to maintain?
LMFAO ...out of the box 📦 was my shit back in the Day😂😇
Your twists look so cute! Do your twists start to slip out after time?? The problem I had the one time I did them was that the twists around my edges basically slipped out because my hair was so soft and then I had all these frizzies at the front (which I detest) so i ended up taking them out! How do you maintain your edges and from excessive frizziness and your edges from slipping out?
I’m a white woman with wavy hair, so I will never get braid, twists, etc. but Bianca posted so I will watch 🤍
Yeah idk what protective style to do bc im white as well so does anyone recommend a protective style?
@@naomikrumsieg3212 2 Dutch or French braid are good protecting styles 🤍🤍🤍
@@hannahtolson02 oh i should learn how to do that!!! Thanks❤🙏
Beautiful 💞
I've been wanting to try a protective hairstyles but I have dry scalp problems and try as I might it never goes away. I'm only able to wash my hair once a week. I wouldn't wsnt to have braids and a white scalp 😭😭
Super cute! 😍
Ouuuu very timely as I want to install a protective style myself. My scalp is very sensitive and needs to be washed every 7 days (and that's pushing it 🥴). How do you wash/cleanse your scalp while preserving the style? My hair is very similar to yours and when I did knotless braids last year, my hair started to slip out. Do you experience your hair slipping out of protective styles as well? If so, how do you fix it?
Nice!!
Nice video! I am thinking on getting braids again this summer. But I wanna know how you got your twists done
love it!!
I cant believe that this is healthy for the hair
