I don’t know how some people can see them as pests or just things without feelings or not intelligent, just viewing this 2 min video you can see how amazing they are and so close to human behavior.

I believe Gibbons are considered a lesser of the Ape family AKA Small Ape and not a monkey so their DNA characteristics are a lot like humans. Fascinating creatures. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
It's crazy to see the amount of hate and dislike for monkeys and apes relative to any other animal. At first I thought it was a 4chan trolling attempt but it's not, and it's been going on for more than a decade. From what I could dig up, people who want to harm monkeys are sociopaths at best, psychopaths at worst. Something is wrong in their brain and it's usually related to empathy. Seeing the monkeys makes them think of humans but they can freely talk about hurting them without the same stigma attached to talking about harming people.
I love the way she can kick back and cross their ankles and the way she just wrapped her whole body around her baby knowing instinctively the keeper very warm. That was two and a half minutes of sweetness. She's going to be a good Mama I hope.

Уеs, long tailed monkeys seem to be the most careless and cruel mothers to their tiny babies, they mistreat them badly, in fact mum monkeeys do bare minimum to keep their babies alive, poor tiny babies since the first minute of their birth have to strugle for their lives😔

Especially the baby! From the back, it's almost hard to tell it's not human! So naked without fur! I feel like s/he is going to get chilled haha 😄 And she seems to be inspecting her baby like a human mom too, counting fingers and toes, lol very beautiful animal! Congrats mom and baby!❤
God created man in His image. We are not monkeys. But that same Creator also created animals and told Adam to name them. Our God thought of everything...leaving nothing to chance. It is precious to see that an animal can protect its young so gracefully.

I love gibbons. Cute how the baby is born with no pigment on his/her body and has very little hair. Well, kinda like us, but the difference is Gibbons stay cute! I don't understand how anyone doesn't like gibbons.

Deze Gibbon aap is zo lief voor zijn/haar jong weten jullie waarom? Neen? Simpel omdat de verzorgers van de Zoo zijn goed voor dieren en zij zijn een voorbeeld dat je ook goed en lief moet zijn voor de jonkies. Dit jong wordt sterk en een prima voorbeeld dat deze dierentuin van mij en de rest van de wereld een vette dikke gouden pluim hebben verdiend.
