Upwind I was averaging around 18 knots I think. Downwind 25

Thanks. Adjustable harness lines - I would guess from 30 to 45 inches...

You explore the course prior to the race and note down approximate location of the marks in your head

The speed varies from upwind to downwind a lot - from 33 kmh to 50kmh is the range roughly.
