Yes there an awesome guitar, Iv'e had mine for a few years now and was very happy, put on a zero fret and NOW it really sounds great, and I found the strings keep their sound better 😊😊😊
If you are persistent, I'm sure you can even get better than me. The good instrument is super important to make you want to play it. It is very good choice, so well done to Yamaha!
You got yourself an amazing instrument. I own a $4000 guitar and a $1000 guitar but i keep coming back to my FG 830. You will appreciate it more and more with time 🙂
Thanks mate, Greetings from Ireland.I learned it from an Australian man Tommy indeed and I usually perform it with an Australian guitar signed by him 👍
@Plamen Panov This guitar punches way above its price range. I'm thinking about an LL6, but it really doesn't get me much more in terms of just noodling around. Just the sound and feel suits me just fine.
👏🏽 BRAVO!!! I put bone everywhere there was plastic and lowered the action. Then Found I had absolutely no need for my D28 sold it and bought a LL-TA and a Pro Tele. All I miss is that intoxicating Martin smell. Just something about the Yamaha sound that gets me.
I did install new bone saddle cause the original is plastic. So there I have adjusted the height of the saddle, but I don’t remember adjusting the truss rod.
Yes, I like the sound of the guitar and I was looking for a guitar with a bit more base in fact. The original strings are not bad, but they wouldn’t last long, so I change them with my favourite Elixir custom light .10, on which I replace the lower E from .47 to .52 so it has more strength in it.
thanks for the demo....super playin !.....now I have to get one of these to add to my collection :)
Awesome demo! You got some nice chops :)
I've been playing guitar for 30 years and I just realized I suck after watching this. 😂 phenomenal guitar playing sir!!! 👏
Thanks allot, I'm glad you like it. The guitar is very good in this case.

Guitar sounds good and you're playing sir is very impressive!!
it sounds little tiny in trebles espessially behind 7th fret. performance is great, you are the master!
I recently started learning to play guitar and bought myself an FG830. Oh, how I'd love to be half as good as you are someday!

LOVE that playing!!
Thanks for the lovely video !
I love the FG830. I got mine almost 3 years ago, and it is really quite good.
I do have more expensive guitars, but I equally love this Yamaha.

I did change the saddle and action too, but the nut I think is ok.The guitar has enough sustain even out of the box.
Best Guitar for the $!
Absolutely
Do you get the set up down to lower the action or this is out of the box? Thank you
I did install new bone saddle cause the original is plastic. So there I have adjusted the height of the saddle, but I don’t remember adjusting the truss rod.
I like the sound you're getting out of that guitar, I just purchased the fg830 arriving tomorrow. Are those stock strings?

@@paccopp Excellent. Thank you.
Very good! I just bought this today. Did you do any setup mods? Lower your bridge saddle?
Thanks, Yes I changed the saddle with a bone one and lowered it a bit too.
@@paccoppthanks!
Yamaha fs 800 vs fg 800 wich better?
I’m not sure myself. The difference, as far as I understand is internal construction for better strength, but sound differences not clear to me.
String 10,11,12?
I personally play with .10 Elixir, but I replace the 6 string with .52 (.47 is to weak)
