The apple tree etc was good back in the day, she found her lane. Indie poppy tunes, with relatable stories about friends, nights out etc ie stay out. I know she’s grown up and evolved obvs, it’s only natural, but… her recent stuff is just OKAY. Truthfully, it’s ten a penny. There’s too many other singers out there like her for her to make that much of an impression. Not awful by any means, not tone deaf, just a bit boring and uninspiring. Pretty girl, which I know helps in the industry. But dull voice, nowt unique, and dull songs.

I know she opened for Coldplay recently, I was at the concert and I didn’t even recognise her. It was only at her duet with Chris Martin it clicked that it was the same bushy haired blonde girl in 2012. She is very milktoast now.
