- I use "Derry" almost exclusively because it is shorter than "Londonderry" and more used anyways. It is not for a political reason. (Londonderry is only used to refer to the County.)
also note: i forgot to put the Anglo-Irish Trade War (1932-1938)
but basically, Ireland and the UK had a Trade War and the Irish Economy got hurt pretty bad because it just got out of the War of Independence, Civil War, and Great Depression.

Your maps are amazing, I always wanted to see this. I hope you can do Myanmar internal conflicts 1948-present also
I plan to do Myanmar every month 1939-Present soon, basemap already done
@@pepitamapping Amazing!
This and your Troubles video are absolutely excellent.
4:05 Chills, the song went along soo well with Ireland almost gaining the entire control of Her country.
Nicely done
I'm your 439th subscriber
I love your maps, they are so much more accurate then other maps on the subject.
thank you, I'm actually currently remaking this project to be even better! if you want it see some of the work so far, i'll link u the Google document

@@pepitamapping dude i really wanna know how you find these documents and information, when i'm going to map something, it's really difficult to find territorial control and attacks, major part of the pages jumps months or years, and lack information about them.
lucky you, I'm working on reworking this video, I will publish the document soon
Nice brother
You really need to work on the pacing for this. Speed or skip past the long chunks where nothing happens, and then slow down for the times where lots was going on and we have to stop to read the text box
I plan to try and work on it in my upcoming videos.
Very Good
What anime is your name a reference to? 🤔
just watched it again, gonna subscribe. Love it, it brings to light the British war crimes against us, just google it, prepare to be horrified. I find it sad a lot of British people aren't taught about the war crimes in Ireland, and I just wish more people knew. Anyway, W video
Bro at least we starved you
The IRA is one big war crime so don’t play the innocent with us
in my school they didnt even teach us about the empire, let alone crimes it committed. its a fucking disgrace
@@meislouis1381 Cry about it
@@stanleypines1026 no im not going to cry about it im just pointing out its a major flaw in our education that we dont learn about a major part of our history. we must know about the dark parts of our history aswell as the good parts, its pathetic to pretend like we are always perfect and in the right all the time. coming to understand our past is important to understanding our country in the present
Im Irish-American, and my favorite part of this video is 1919-1922.
proud to be irish
Nice.
