I didn't realize how dirty my output jack was until I tried this. Thanks for the tip. It fixed the issue.

ONLY AMAZING! I thought i was going to have to remove the wiring harness to my archtop and possibly replace the jack. I fixed it in less than a minute with a Q-Tip and some alcohol. Thank you so much for the repair lesson and keeping it short, sweet and to the point, a rarity on CZcams.

Another quick fix you might find useful is simply bending the piece of metal that clips the jack’s plug into place, that way it makes better contact and it doesn’t go loose

The alcohol and cotton swab absolutely does the trick. Thank you!

Yo at first I was skeptical since I just lightly cleaned everything out with a q-tip, but then I tried putting the alcohol on the jack and plugging and unplugging it a bunch and it completely fixed the noise (I think it was just crazy dirty). I can violently shake my guitar around now and there's not even a hint of noise. Thank you so much this has been bothering me for years!

Deoxit does wonders. There are different types. Read the directions. It's such a basic electronic connection. This is an opportunity.

Sounds like a possible wiring issue, these methods are 100% safe to use and will not damage your guitar if done as we demonstrated. Sorry to hear about your guitar.

It is an output jack, not an input jack.
