- Hey friends! It's time to let it shine :) Brass polishing projects are my favorite because you can see results in a matter of minutes. It takes courage to see a beautiful object behind all this rust and patina. I hope you'll enjoy today's tutorial. Let me know what you think!

Great video. Did you restore the felt to the bottom or did you leave that open? Thanks.
Did you put a felt bottom on? What glue did you use?
I wish to understand the Green thing you rubbed with was it Sandpaper if yet rhen how many Grits or was it scotch Brite 😊
They are at dollar tree. Some have one side sponge other side green deal. It may work. ❤❤😊
Very smart
Thank you for the video! I have a 1960's Loevsky & Loevsky lamp that I am hoping to restore. It has a lot of blue patina (blue rust?) that won't come off and fearful to use the wrong chemical.
Be careful. I restored a L&L assuming it was solid brass, but it was pewter with a brass overlay. So I essentially turned a brass tone lamp into a silver tone lamp. It still looks cool, and I learned a valuable lesson. lol
Wow! I was trying to clean up my parents old brass lamps from the 60's and the brass in some areas looks gray, but it is brass. I use a magnet on it and didn't stick. Why would brass turn gray if it is real brass? I don't understand. I have cleaned other brass items, and they have become really shiny. I had used Bar keepers, and also Brasso, but nothing will work on brightening those areas, and I don't like it
Harry Potter?
