If Daria can improve her spare shooting, she’ll be dangerous. Her game is so enjoyable to watch though, and she seems like such a nice person.
Check out her Instagram account, she posts a lot of videos during training as well as a lot of what happens behind the scenes during her day-to-day life and while on tour. She does indeed seem like one of the genuinely nice ones out there, from everything I've seen her post.
She is nice very nice very personable

I don’t see why bowling can’t be an Olympic sport if curling is.
i would love to see bowling get to that level, but i cant imagine would it would be like. also, have you seen the science of curling? like how they prepare the ice?
No argument there. Bit of a shame really, they have even dumbed down the game with this horrible world scoring system... still no interest.
I’m on both curling and bowling leagues and agree completely.

The scary thing is that EJ and Simonson are both super young, so these two guys will be dominating the tour for years to come. I hate his hair but Troupe is also in that conversation. There are 5 or 6 other young pros that look good, but none with the power and consistency of EJ, Simonson and Troupe. In 10 years, the only older pro who may be able to beat them might be 64 year old Norm Duke, who will no longer be known as the Wee Iceman but the Old Iceman, haha

Im doing Simonson's backup bowling style. You need to master all styles if possible and this comes in super handy.
Daria is a fine bowler, usually don't see such high Revs from women.

@@gmctruck68 She’s definitely that. See her win the 2017 PWBA finals/whatever it’s called. Her last match was against her former teammate of four years. She straight up said her former teammate deserved the trophy as much as she did. They bowled a VERY close match. It was wild to see.

😂 I thought the same when I first heard that name...
Watching this in 2023, I don't believe this type of scoring has been used since...which I am very thankful for. Bowling is all about stringing strikes, and making your spares.

can somebody explain me the rules? I thought you get 30 points for one frame when you hit all 10 pins the third time in a row. But in game 1 against Pajak Johnosn didn't do that in frame 8 and still got 30 points in frame 10. How is this possible?
this is a different scoring system
Lol it is not the 3rd time...everytime u get a strike...u are awarded 30 points...there is no 3 consecutive rules...so there is no relation between 8th and 10th frame...

Is 900 Global also a Storm subsidiary? Daria was using a Storm spare ball when she's a Global 900 staffer.

900 global is owned by Storm. 900 Global staffers are allowed to throw Storm spare balls because 900 global lacks in manufacturing spare balls.
900 global's stuff is also made under Storm plant.
As of right now, the contract for Storm / Rotogrip staffers doesn't allow them to throw 900G products. But this might change in a few years or so.

Could anyone explain to me why bowlers touch the bottom of their shoes before throwing?
Wiping off debris so they can get a consistent slide. Some guys do it, some don’t, everyone has a different pre shot routine
