I’m annoyed that the SN need full rewire to get them to sound good.. Do you know of any work arounds??

Im not 100% sure.. mine was done on my SN when i got it.

It does make a difference on those 3.5” dash speakers not having it mounted flush. You can seal it off with foam or just cut out the hole a little but you will absolutely heat a difference when the front is isolated from the back.
