Morgan Freeman said the way to get rid of racism is to stop talking about it, to stop looking at things as black and white. The reason the earlier Marvel movies were entertaining were because it was plot led. The characters spoke for themselves without being preachy or pushing an agenda.
When you ignore color, you also ignore the discrepancies between them. I know as an 18 year old white dude who hasn’t stepped outside for awhile that “I don’t see color” was some sort of monumental phrase. When in reality it means you completely ignore the reality of minorities.

Not too difficult to figure that out, bro lol but I do agree that people that have to put people into different little pockets based off of their skin color is absolutely ridiculous. It’s funny that someone as “dumb” as Floyd Mayweather proved to be infinitely wiser than a whole lot of people when someone asked him something about being an African American, and he said something to the effect of “I wasn’t born in Africa, so I’m not an African American. I was born and raised in America. I’m an American!” Like, dude, he’s just as of an American as me, and I’m just as much of an American as him. I just so happen to have white skin…he just so happens to have black skin…but that means absolutely nothing.
Yeah honestly they should have recast T'Challa and let the character live on. Was a better move even commercially but apparently Disney isn't driven by profit anymore, they're literally a propaganda machine.
You know what I like about Blade? Nobody needs to discuss how awesome the character is for being black. He's awesome for who he is and what he is good at.
I don't think it's wrong for Disney to make these films. They aren't going to be very lucrative, but if a few trilogies are what it takes to empower our fellow African Americans them why not indulge them?
Exactly! I love The Expanse and don't care what colour or gender anyone in their extremely diverse cast is cos they're all BELIEVABLE and don't constantly remind me that being white and peeing standing up makes me racist and sexist, adding "it's unconscious, you don't realise you're doing it" if I protest because I'M NOT 🤬
@@augustineacevedo37 Agree to a certain extent, but the movies are so shit it fucking demoralizing to watch. *They even had to tokenize Black Panther!!!!!!* Just like Captain America 'cept with a woman. God that shit pissed me off with Falcon. Mackie was my favorite. Now it's Black Panther. JEEEEEEBUS.
They think you are all the same and "representing" a black person in one of their movies "represents" you, as though you are no different from each other simply because your skin has the same hue. We have literally come full circle back to objectively racist rhetoric being passed off as "representation and diversity." It is no different from a white person in the 19th century telling other people that all bl.ac.ks are stupid and once you've seen one, you seen them all. That is what it is, and it is disgusting, and I call it out in person whenever I can. Holy shit, do these people even realize what they are doing, or is this all intentional?
In the Comics Originally, T'challa Didn't Made His Suit Out Of Armor. It was Just Made Out of Cloth. It would of Been way better if the suit was just all cloth and not armor. It would've have to show T'challa having to dodge attacks that would been lethal and raise the stakes. The Same Scene We Saw In Civil War. When He Fought Bucky In the Stair Scene Without The Suit. Panther was Showing Off his Super human Strength and Skills. If the Movie Did That, The Fight Scenes Would Of Been Way Better. It would of shown the true power of the Black Panther. Manga and anime is going down too, onlt slightly slower. They aready erased shonen, now you only have stuff for girls, and stuff "for everyone", with girls deciding what it looks like. If she built an arc reactor, I assume it's based on his old paladium version? I mean, she couldn't possibly have, also, created a new element to replace that one, right? Let's also acknowledge the fact that they've had vibranium for centuries, and can only make a suit for one guy? Heck, in this movie, why didn't they give the power of the plant to all their top warriors? I mean, it's not exactly sacred anymore, right?
Being woke, to me, is a way people can feel like they've accomplished something and have become a human of high standards without actually achieving anything. It's like a cheap drug that makes you feel good and proud about yourself and create an illusion that you're in the superior class of humanity, and everything you spew is gold.
That's why lefties are so easy to manipulate. Personally I don't think the lot of them are "evil" they're just LAZY bleeding hearts who want the best for everyone without any of the sacrifice. Words with no real action is enough for them to feel good.

Didn’t Bother Watching The First One, And Definitely Didn’t Bother Watching This One. The Promos Stopped Me When The Show Was Offered For Free To Kids In Chicago’ Promoting Black Panthers.
Its funny that even genius Tony Stark in his 30s needed help when building his first suit and reactor and bunch of people were giving him parts he needed, but these kids can make everything, that btw must cost millions, in their apartments.
The reason why Iron man was liked was you saw RDJ get kidnapped and even saw him get blown up and bleeding. Then he gets saved by someone and you see him build the first prototype and kicks ass. This one “girls smart she built it don’t ask how”
I liked the first one because it showed how the men and women came together to accomplish a goal and showed how one was not more important than the other
The whole “everyone the same character” thing seems to be a theme with woke movies. I think they’re afraid to give anyone a weakness, because someone would cry “they represent my group and you’re portraying them as weak!” The worst example that I can think of is “The Harder They Fall”. If you’ve ever seen a Will Smith character, that’s every character in the movie. They’re all too cool, wisecracking, smooth talking, condescending, sarcastic, geniuses. I made it through about 10 minutes.
wasn't her flaw burying her emotions and living in denial? It's cliché but it's there. As for the genius thing, they were all Wakandan royalty. in the comic it's basically a utopia, where the standard level of children's schooling there would make them grow up to be geniuses as well.
The total hilarity is that Stark was full of weakness & progressivism, but that didn't stop them from swapping him out! The fact that you have "people-of-color" using the internet to succulently destroy and refute their stupidity IS the triumph here!
Oh no, you're not just right to think that, you're G**DAMN right! (Censoring myself just in case. Susan's algorithms are watching.) If you think this movie was bad, it's just inspired by all the stupid woke comic books of the past several years. There's got to be !representation! for every victim group (except for straight white men and women, naturally), female or whatever-imaginary-gender non-white characters are stunning and brave and super-smart and can do no wrong. Except they're insufferable, fascistic, boring, endlessly signal politics, and everything else you no doubt took notice of in this movie. Picture years of comic books with that kind of bullshit. Yes, Riri got her start in the comics, and she's even worse in them. She stole Tony Stark's tech to make her own suit...how heroic, huh? Other really terrible characters who are an insult to women include Captain Marvel and America Chavez (they were honestly awesome once before woke writers retconned them both), Ms. Marvel Kamala Khan, Squirrel Girl...I'd keep going with the list, but I'd rather not make myself weep over how horribly women are insulted!
@@herewego8686 If you mean Shuri, I'm sure that would help us connect with her, but I'll take a wild guess: they never explored such things, did they? Of course not. I kinda wish she at least had another character to play off too, but dudes aren't allowed anymore. The armour looks bad beside the gun and I kinda wish they just looked for a cosplay, cause then you have an actual reason why it looks like that.
A balloon animal shaped like a heart. Since her name's Ironheart. Whatever idiot designed that suit must have broke something patting himself on the back!
In the comics, Riri Williams became Iron Heart after she reverse engineered one of Tony Stark's Iron Man suits. The way you make it sound, they have retconned her origin in the MCU to make it so that she didn't have to rely on a man to get her start as a superhero. That would be par for the course. They even ruined She-Hulk's origins. In the comics, she was saved by Bruce Banner when he gave her a transfusion of his blood. In the MCU, his blood accidentally got into a cut she received from a car accident they were both in. There is literally no reason to change these origin stories except to remove any connection to men that these characters may have.
there's more than that. I suspect Disney is having a crisis of direction. The time has come when they came to realize that they can't keep sitting on IPs and using copyright laws to force everyone who likes those IPs to buy from them. that's why they changed so much stuff. stop using the old characters who are getting ready to lapse into public domain. Make new "hip" characters... now you can sit on the comics mountain for a few more decades. the problem is... their new stuff is not as good as reprints of stuff from 50 years ago...
People complained that Iron Heart just stole from Iron Man without putting in anything herself. Now here she is making a suit herself and they’re now complaining that she is not relying on a man to be a superhero. There’s no satisfying these people
@@casualfanatic4217 perhaps the whole Iron Heart character is not a good idea to begin with Though this version seems just as turbo agenda, I could at least buy if she was one of the prodigies under Stark or Stark Industries but the chick develops Vibranium detector, Arc reactor and Iron Man suit as a college student She wouldn't have enough free time for one of those things
The thing that bothers me the most is all this agenda they push is fake. They don't care about representation. They don't care about feminism. They don't even care about the IP. All they care about is that they made it. What I miss is when they used to make movies to entertain people. I love that you found a way to reference The Trial of Incredible Hulk 😄
You’re still giving them too much credit. All of this is just what low-IQ psychopaths do to try and reject a society that rejected them first. They want you to hurt, even if it hurts them. I know. It’s petty. But what do you expect from a people that never came up with the wheel, writing, concepts of what’s beyond the stars or the idea to stack stones for housing?
I don't really think that's true since their 'agenda' movies have been performing way worse than they should of. I just don't understand why they're pushing this when it's clearly not working. It's a company, you're supposed to make money.

You hit the nail in the head. Martin Luther King said ; "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." That’s where movies like you mentioned, wall-e, babe, stand out because they are character driven not race or gender driven. We love movies like that. @Richard Rivera it's also deeply offensive how often people try to cherry pick King's words and condense them into a talking point that's neatly thrown out as a catch all. Here is something else he said right after, in which he echoes exactly what I'm saying. “In their relations with Negroes, white people discovered that they had rejected the very center of their own ethical professions, “They could not face the triumph of their lesser instincts and simultaneously have peace within. And so, to gain it, they rationalized - insisting that the unfortunate Negro, being less than human, deserved and even enjoyed second class status … White men soon came to forget that the Southern social culture and all its institutions had been organized to perpetuate this rationalization. They observed a caste system and quickly were conditioned to believe that its social results, which they had created, actually reflected the same world"

I get the idea that they tried to make Nemor come from the Aztec or Mayan people, but someone forgot to tell Marvel that the Aztec and Mayan people were not Latino, they were Native Americans. In fact, it was the Spaniards that wiped the Aztec people off of the globe. Aztec and Mayan people wouldn’t have a Spanish accent. With Nemor being of Spanish heritage, then he would be a descendant of the “colonizers”. The Spanish colonized central and South America. Poor T’Challa didn’t even get to go out a boss, like Tony. Just like Captain America and Thor he gets a humiliating end for a hero. No sacrifice, just like Cap becoming a coward and transitioning to Twinkle Toes Rogers, using his super soldier endurance for winning dance marathons rather than saving his best friend Bucky. No wonder he told Falcon he didn’t want to elaborate more, because he didn’t want to admit that him and Peggy danced in the police state that the world had become after Red Skull and Hydra conquered the world using the Tesseract to power a WMD. Since Black Panther is fully covered in vibranium armor, why couldn’t they start the movie at the end of a mission, like James Bond always did, except have T’Challa make a major league sacrifice to save the world? The character is fully CGI when he is in consume anyway. It makes little sense that having that flower juice which gives the hero advanced healing and strength would kill the Black Panther. How could such a super human be done in by some infection that wasn’t at least part of a major pandemic? It was the stupidest death to give a hero and an insult to Chadwick Boseman, who deserved a death befitting a hero.

A balloon animal shaped like a heart. Since her name's Ironheart. Whatever idiot designed that suit must have broke something patting himself on the back!
Dont forget the corn rows on the helmet
That's literally the agenda now for the MCU. It's what ruined Star Wars and now has ruined the MCU.
Dude that's really a stretch, you're just overanalysing in my opinion
there's more than that. I suspect Disney is having a crisis of direction. Make new "hip" characters... now you can sit on the comics mountain for a few more decades. the problem is... their new stuff is not as good as reprints of stuff from 50 years ago...

And so, to gain it, they rationalized - insisting that the unfortunate Negro, being less than human, deserved and even enjoyed second class status … White men soon came to forget that the Southern social culture and all its institutions had been organized to perpetuate this rationalization. I enjoyed the movie because it's intense. it focus on how do we survive this situation, compared to "representing"
@@pixelsnek4819 Got him!!! It's beyond soul crushing that there are actual ppl in this world that would/do put "REPRESENTATION" ahead of story, characters, script, and a quality cohesive movie that entertains and doesn't pull it's punches when talking about ANY issue. Someone already said this, but it's true that many American's and too many ppl across Europe, now depend on the government, along with large corporate bodies, to be told what morals & virtues to believe in. Is it any surprise that these monolithic entities, that're controlled by the .001%, push for ideals that seem well intentioned on the surface, but are actually designed to sow division and cull the masses into believing that questioning the powers that be, or just speaking truth to power, is inherently wrong???
I know what went wrong: it went full representation, you never go full representation
He was dead already and they weren't going to do something disgusting like have a stand-in get killed in some boring fight scene.

60 years of comic lore. 60 years of collectors and comic fans. And this is what those fans and collectors of the lore are relegated to. What this really is, is a lesson in how to destroy a fandom in 5 years or less!
@Raymond Sims growing up as an Avengers fan. The Black Panther was always one of my favorite Heroes. His only equal was Captain America. He was always looked up to as a leader. For me, I didn't wait all these years for this.
Destroying it was the point. Occupying forces always tear down statues of a cultures heroes and then destroy their literature and architecture while they route out and crush dissenting voices.

I'm sure Chadwick wouldn't have wanted them to kill off his character... They could have done something similar to what they did with Spartacus and Andy Whitfield. RIP Chadwick and Andy 🙏
When Disney announced that they won't recast Chadwicks character to honor him, I applauded to it. Little did I know that it was not for the honor of Chadwick, rather they just wanted to push MsheU and Chadwick's death gave them a great chance.
They should of just made some bs about an explosion or a really horrible illness that fucked up his body and shuri did some mumbo jumbo science and now he just looks like a different person. No problemo.

I went to the theatre to see this. I stayed awake for the Chadwick boseman part in the beginning but the after but after that I fell right asleep. It was so boring and there was just no action. It’s really sad to see that these corporations rather make people feel better then actually making a great movie where it’s accurate to the comics.
It's so frustrating that certain people think the only way to relate to another person/character is by race and/or gender. How is humanity supposed to get along if we can't even relate to one another because of our difference in genes?

Rewatched Wakanda Forever and it’s worse the 2nd time. It’s not a good movie. They kill off the one person that could maybe carry it in Angela Bassett. They completely don’t utilize Nakia and M’Baku. “Spear in here” is such cringey acting. Namor introducing himself is laughable. I needed Deadpool to pop in while Namor was attempting to look tough towards the Queen and Shuri, and Deadpool looks at camera to say - “there’s nothing intimidating about this dude who looks completely out of shape with weird feathers on his ankles”. I do not want to see Iron Heart or Cassie Lang or She-Hulk ever again. There’s no point for them. Marvel is a disaster right now. Good way to screw over RDJ’s Tony Stark. How about leaving that to the little dude in IM3 or Peter Parker. Oh, there’s zero chance I don’t stab chunky outta shape Namor (whatever his name is) for murdering my mother in front of me. Then, I’d take the body to his Taloecan (whatever they are) people and tell them - never leave the water again.

For the sake of "Representation"
Currently, the character being gay or trans is more important than his history as a hero

Confused about their gender, race and sexual orientation?
Movies like this are so empowering for me as a woman. I mean, it's letting me know that I can achieve anything I want, so long as I'm a magically perfect, hyper-intelligent, universally-blessed chosen one who emerged from the womb better than everyone else on the planet.
So inspiring! It really speaks to all women! Such awesome representation!
You really mean to tell me you didn’t look up to movie heroes as a kid? Come on now…I don’t think they’re really trying to inspire 30 year olds. Imo they’re mostly trying to inspire children when they’re talking about representation. And it IS important.
@@jaredrubino1889 shill harder.
Wokanda forever is shit
@@jaredrubino1889 IMO, the idea of people needing representation on screen is bullshit. There's nothing keeping a black girl from being whatever she wants to be and doesn't need to be inspired by a comic-book movie. This phase of Marvel shows that women are just awesome from the jump and don't need to endure any type of struggle. Not to mention their "strength" is simply being surrounded by foolish men. Kind of like being the tallest midget. That is not the message I want my daughter to see on screen.
Do you mean in a world with Gods and superheroes, women have superpowers? Weird how the numerous heroes have " magically perfect, hyper-intelligent, universally-blessed chosen one who emerged from the womb better than everyone else on the planet." but its only discussed when certain characters are that way. Plus, I'm pretty sure that Suri goes through the emotional instability and the sadness of losing her entire family but yeah, shes perfect.
Man who ever edited this video is a LEGEND!!
I wonder what happened to studies that showed demographics and market share for a target audience? Used to be something like 18-35 years old with lots of disposable income?
