One note Adam. This stadium is where the Rays played the Dodgers in the 2020 World Series. So technically this park has hosted the world series twice already, and the Rangers were only involved once.
Also, I had the pleasure of seeing Nolan Ryan pitch once, in the last game he ever pitched against the Angels. It was one of the last games the Angels sold out in the NFL era (66,000+ seats), as everyone wanted to say goodbye to a true living legend. He pitched one hell of game. Hisn next start was against the Mariners and he gave up 5 runs, tearing his arm up and ending his 26 year career.
Love the video! Glad you had a great time in Arlington.....we Texans are pretty nice! Thanks for coming, oh and glad you got your nachos! (I get those too!))
The “Hello” after saying hello to Tom Landry couldn’t have been timed any better. Cool!
I remember going to that wet and wild and seeing rangers stadium from the water slides when I was 9 in 8 in 1984. It was my first year of little league and I lived and breathed baseball.
LOL That would be Cicadas. I have lived my whole life in the DFW area and that is just the soundtrack of summer. You get to where you don't even notice them. I'm glad to hear everyone was nice and friendly at the ballpark. Welcome to Texas, Mr Woo.
That’s awesome you acknowledged the workers at the stadium for their hospitality. They do work hard
The old homeplate will be placed back once construction is completed adam, that empty site is the storage for the National Medal of Honor Museum being constructed.
Those are the big grey yearly cicadas, my grandmother called them dry flies
Very cool to see AT&T stadium up close...the arched roof supports that you walked by (around the 3 minute mark) were manufactured by the company I work for in Michigan...
Good morning, Adam. Yesterday, I visited Marceline, Missouri. I never would have known these great tributes to Walt Disney existed had it not been for your vlog last summer. I just wanted to say thanks for all you do, and thanks for all the wonderful places you show your viewers.
Isn’t it remarkable how much of a positive impact the friendly staff had on your experience of this stadium? Such a difference for such a simple thing; other venues should learn from this. Glad you got your ball park nachos 🎉😊
glad to hear you've experienced some of our Texas Friendliness! :) Really enjoyed getting to see the stadium- thanks! I live in Austin, but have never made it up there for a game!
Welcome to Texas! We are the friendliest folks around! Glad you enjoyed your time here🤘🇺🇸
Glad you’re enjoying your time in Texas! Sorry about your Rays, but as a Rangers fan…not too sorry 😅. Yes, Texas sized hospitality is a real thing!!! Safe travels
Lots of eye candy in today's video. 😊 Thanks!
Adam,
Being a youngster you probably don't have this historical perspective... The Texas Rangers began life in 1961 as the Washington Senators, an expansion team. After 10 years in Washington, they left DC after the 1971 season and became the Texas Rangers beginning in 1972. Ironically, the team they replaced, also the Washington Senators, moved to Minnesota to become the Twins. So DC has lost two baseball teams called the Washington Senators, that became the Minnesota Twins and Texas Rangers.
Woozempic? Haha looking good brotha. As an Orlando..ian, thank you for representing US 192 lol
Glad you enjoyed your visit to the Ballpark (for the most part) & thanks for the great video. I work at the ballpark replenishing concession stands & we're there long before the game begins & usually gone by the time doors open for fans. Roof story: in summer the roof has to be closed as during the first season in the new ballpark ('21) the roof was opened when the temp was in mid - upper 90's & it caused major condensation throughout the whole stadium - wet floors everywhere. Thanks again & all the best!!
Hi Adam. My dad years ago when I was growing up back in the mid 1980’s in my teenage years was a vendor at ranger stadium that would walk the stands selling the beer, soda, popcorn, peanuts and anything else that would be sold in the stands. Me and my brothers would get into the games free sometimes as a perk of my dad working for the organization. We always went to all the promo games. This was during Nolan Ryan’s time with the team so I had the pleasure to see the GREATEST pitcher of all time on several occasions. I am now 51 years of age
Congrats Adam on 25 stadiums! Sorry about your Rays. I love the new stadium/ac. TX summers are brutal.
tom landry was the guy in the hat at the top of the cowboys poster. he was their first head coach who help devlop alot of modern day football plays.
I'm not a Rangers fan, but I did enjoy the tour of the stadium. Very nice, actually. Liked the laid-back vibes. Nachos looked delicious. Enjoy your visit to Texas, brother.
A few years ago we went to see a game in the Arlington stadium. We were able to get a ride over there from the hotel shuttle and they said that they’d come back to pick us up after. Well after the game, no shuttle. We along with a party of four gentlemen were waiting forever. We called, we tried everything so we gave up, joined together and called a taxi. Finally we got the cab, got in and the driver went forever to get us back to the hotel. We all split the rather large fare/tip and went to our rooms. The next day we found out that where we were picked up was actually just around the corner to the hotel. The driver brought us all around to add to the fare but we were actually only about 2 blocks away!
Welcome back to D/FW. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Sorry, not sorry. I'm from Texas originally, so I was happy to see the Rangers win! Glad you are able tick one more stadium off your personal list.
I lived in the DFW area very briefly as a kid. We went to a handful of Rangers games at what is now Choctaw Stadium. It was a fun atmosphere, but boy did those afternoon games get hot. I can see why they wanted a dome
One of my friends is a korean radio broadcaster from the Texas Rangers stadium
The tress plus sound, seems like an opening to a new horror flick. 😂
Man when I hear those cicadas I automatically think of summer time as a kid growing up here in Texas. Nostalgia 🤌
Love the baseball vlogs! I got to visit the old ballpark in 2019, but I haven't mad it back to see the new one yet.
So funny I’ve lived in dfw my whole life and haven’t ever really paid attention to the cicadas until you pointed them out
Welcome to Texas. That’s a nice stadium the Rangers have. Gotta have a/c at full blast 😂 I got to see Nolan Ryan pitch for the Houston Astros many times
So cool, Adam! I went to games at the previous two stadiums in Arlington. Can’t wait to see the new one
The sound in the trees are locusts. They are green, 2 inches long with clear wings that hatch from a brown shell, and they fill the trees in Texas summers with that sound. Some call them cicadas, or kadidids
I'm from Europe where *nobody* watches baseball. But I *love* these baseball stadia tours ! PS : Indoor fireworks. I have seen everything. "Have you seen a man eat his own head ?" "No" "Then you have not seen everything"
I'm 10 minutes from the stadium. I'm glad you enjoyed the home of our Texas Rangers! I love it. We are there all the time. Chuck Morgan is a legendary announcer in the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame. His voice is Texas Rangers baseball. BTW, those sounds in the trees mean its very Hot in Texas. 😂
The noises you hear in the tress are in fact Cicadas.
I know this may come off a tad bit strange, but I have been a fan of your vlogs for years now and I'm not afraid of the comment section....The only two things consistent in my life are Daily Woo videos and overworking myself... Thanks for being so dang consistent. It means a lot to people like me who have no consistency of their own.
I’m happy that you enjoyed my favorite team stadium and everyone was nice to you , wish you could stay in Texas longer and explore more
Glad to see you in Texas, Adam. Even if it is a short visit. My wife and I went to a Rangers game on a side trip during our honeymoon in August of 1994. It was at what is now named the Choctaw stadium, and it was a great park, but brutally hot. The domed stadium is a necessity for the heat (just like Florida).
I really enjoy your travels around MLB! Thanks!
It was an honor to finally get to meet you, Sir! If you ever come back, look me up. I can tell you more about Six Flags Over Texas than you can imagine.
Glad to see you made it out to see my Rangers stadium. Meanwhile, I'm about to move to Orlando so my son will probably grow up a Rays fan!
Yup! The sound your hearing is definitely cicadas. Everything in Texas is bigger especially the cicadas😅
Was hoping Adam might have gone on the AT&T Stadium tour...I did it a year or so ago and it was really cool. You don't have to be a Cowboys fan to enjoy it.
Props on your review. That’s my home ballpark and I was still learning things from your video.
It warms my heart to hear eveyone at my home stadium was kind to you. I know you've encountered some rudeness at other stadiums...
I do remember seeing Nolan Ryan pitch at the old stadium near Six Flags. I had no idea the new old stadium had been replaced (again). Time flies.
All your videos so great and fun. Great job keep it up
Greetings from Ohio. I know the feeling. I have been a Cincinnati Reds fan forever. They are in a similar boat as the Rays this year. Similar record. Once they get somthing going and looking good they fall apart for a few series before getting it going again. Cinci swept the Yankees last week then the very next series cinci gets swept by Detroit. It's tough to watch but it's all part of the game. Your baseball videos have inspired me to visit more stadiums to watch my Reds play. No way I can do all the stadiums, but I would like to visit the ones that are a days drive or less away. Safe Travels and enjoy yourself.
Love the ballpark vids Adam!… and your discipline and determination for your 50 by 50 is truly inspiring…. BTW Fenway has the bar on Landsdowne outside the ballpark that peeks into the Fenway outfield… looked like the Rangers club was a lot nicer….
The taco place Oppo is a play on the home run call to the opposite field, so if a lefty batter hits one out to left field, announcers will say he hit an oppo taco. So the pronunciation is different than what Mr the Woo said here (it's the same as the start of the word "opposite"). It's actually a very clever name for a ballpark taco stand.
Dang I totally flaked on that one . Didn’t put two and two together till you mentioned it . Good eye
Glad you got to check out the stadium Adam. I love the videos when you are here in the DFW. Im not sure if you are aware but on Davis St. Just a few minutes up Randoll Mill Rd. Just past At&t Stadium is Moore Memorial Gardens where Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul are both buried
Good to see you in my home town Adam
The mascot race there is a bottle cap race sponsored by Ozarka bottled water. I remember that race when I saw the Rangers on vacation in 2011.
during your "LIVING SIMPLY LIFE" in your van, you never mentioned baseball, until your Anaheim days in California, you mentioned going to reds games with your Uncle, and collecting cards, and then later being both EAST and WEST coast baseball, then choosing finally Tampa bay as your team to root for and i'm glad you are.
I took a break from baseball for a while . I go thru faxes with it and stopped paying attention to the game when I first stared the channels . The van dwelling days I has a mlb license plate on the front of my van . It’s in a million videos . I’ve always loved the game
Happy to see you in my neck of the woods.
I live in the north Texas area. So happy to hear you were treated well, and the sounds in the trees are definitely cicadas. It’s a normal sound to us in the area. 😊
Welcome to Texas. We are very friendly and nice. Glad you came. Enjoy.
Yes, the cicadas are loud in Texas.
I recall the first Globe Life Stadium (now the Choctaw Stadium) was built in the parking lot of Arlington Stadium. I have been to both Arlington Stadium and the first Globe Life Stadium, but I have yet been inside the new one. However, I did release a video of Texas Live! awhile back.
It is still a goal of mine meet you in person someday. I should have used my Columbo like skills and figure out where you were going to be.
🎶🎶Nacho nacho man....😂 afternoon Buddy
The old stadium is gone. There is nothing of it except memories
So that Maxxxine movie, did you watch the first two?
Unbelievable you were out here. Haven’t been in the new stadium because couldn’t find parking last time I visited. I still haven’t been inside the new stadium. Looks cool from the outside.
I’m currently working on getting to Arlington park myself .
Digging the new camera .
Thanks for this vlog. Safe travels. Cheers.
Happy belated 12-year anniversary of the daily vlogs. I just went back through and reminisced on a bunch of the beginning videos. Time traveling vicariously through this channel Chaka konka konk
Adam, you are in my hometown. I’m here now visiting family. I hope you enjoy your stay in Arlington! Everyone is friendly because you are in TEXAS.
Great video!!! The Chicago White Sox have the Patio on the warning track where people can eat, meet, and greet.
We love to have visitors in Texas. We also love to have visitors at the Texas Rangers game. Welcome TheDailyWoo!
Eovaldi hasn't lost to the Rays since 2021 and the Rangers just have the Rays' number, dating back all the way to the 2010 ALDS. Just a brutal matchup
I got to see Nolan Ryan pitch live when he was with the Astros Have a good trip Adam
I went to the old stadium when I was like 6, it was an ok stadium. Ballpark in Arlington was a great ballpark. New one is good to beat the heat.
nice Vlog again Adam thank you 😊
back in the 90's, I went to Montreal and saw the Expo's play the Dodgers. The only time I have been in a dome baseball stadium. You took the subway directly into Pi 9 stadium exiting into the food court area. I will never forget it. Now neither exist. SPOOKY!
I saved this to watch later. This is my home ballpark (Go Rangers)! We go to so many games but the old Ballpark in Arlington was way better. Can’t wait to watch this video when I have time. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Texas. I would say “stay cool” but seeing you have Tampa gear on, I assume you’re from FL so the heat is normal for you 😂😂
Nice to see it come together for you 😂 🎉
When I think of Nolan Ryan. I think of the time he spent pitching for the California Angels. Thankfully I was there to see that many times.
The Ballpark in Arlington, as it was called when it was built in 1994, is one of the most beautiful stadiums ever in baseball to me. It’s sad that they have jettisoned it so soon for the glitz of a fancy indoor stadium that’s uglier.
I’ve seen many games at the old Arlington Stadium and at the Ballpark. Never saw Ryan pitch, unfortunately, but I did attend games when he was on the team.
I'm from Post Falls, Idaho, in the panhandle. Come visit. Many good times await in these parts.
Great video. Yay for 25! Those bug sounds remind me of a rattlesnake.
Great stadium Adam...I like the Astros place better...I take it you will be there next month...thanks for the fun
Happy Monday Adam 😎
Globe Life Stadium will always be the answer to a trivia question. What ballpark hosted the entire 2020 World Series (MLB's COVID season)? The Rays played in that series.
Big Cowboys fan, thanks, Mr. The Dailywoo
15:55 the old Arlington stadium. My dad used to take me to Ranger games when I was a little Savage. I didnt care about the games though. I was there for the food and to stare at Six Flags from the top row seats. We always sat in the nosebleeds
Sorry we kicked the TB Rays butt! I still hope you enjoyed your trip. I hope you enjoyed the AC
Hello Adam. Haven't heard you speak of the half marathon which is approaching soon! Do you still plan on participating and if you are walking maybe wrap those sore knees for some compression.
Yes I’m still doing it . I plan on walking it at a fast pace and jogging a little bit just to get ahead of the time . My goal is to finish it without being timed out
@@johnnymoran180 Sorry....I don't read every comment. But thanks anyway.
As the old saying goes 'Don't mess with Texas' .....the Rays got them butts kicked 🐎💥
@@GregsGameRoomthat was a good burn, by George! 😊
The Packers and Brewers mess with Texas all the time too 😂
Kudos to you. I have been to three games at a ballpark in my life. Two at the old 'Busch Stadium' and one at the new in St. Louis.
The Cardinals are currently in 2nd in the NL but we're coming up on 'choke season'. Oh wow! I want a rocking chair! P.S. 'Helmet Nachos' always seem to taste better. 😉
I live not far from arlington, welcome
Oh man. The Rays took a beating yesterday.
That's a really good looking stadium. Plus nachos done right!
Your in Texas? Oh man.....wish I could come see you.....meet you.....your awesome, love your videos.

25 stadiums down now while seeing The Rays play. On the home stretch and hoping to have this goal accomplished by the end of this season
Well done, sir! Already quite the feat. Rounding third and heading for home on this challenge! ⚾️
Safe travels!
@TheDailyWoo I've been to rangers staunch few times fun in place
Awesome, Adam! Also, glad you found your helmet nachos!
Awesome buddy I'm a rangers fan because i'm from down there Dallas Fort Worth area. Also if you're ever back down there again Dallas cowboys stadium at&t stadium does stadium tours If I ever make it back down there again, I'm gonna do that tour. I'm a die hard cowboy fan Also I do remember going into the old Rangers stadium when I was a kid but I can't remember what year probably like 94 or 95.
