I've stopped drawing for so long and totaly lack confidence in myself. I ordered the stickybones with hight hope they would help me go back to drawing. Just seeing them made me want to for the first time in so long. Drawing was a way to express myself but for a time I lost sight of that and began believing that because I wasn't a great artist and just drawing for myself that I shouldn't buy great materials to work with. A part of my reasons was that people around me were doing amazing things (going professional too) and I was just my little self. The stickybones will help me gain back a tool that was a therapy in itself: it'll help me heal all my scars as drawing did before I stopped. So thank you for creating an amazing tool that is accessible to everyone and not just a limited class of people. I'm sending you a hug for all the amazing work you did to accomplish your dreams and in so doing helping other people dreams come true.

Just got mine and it's very posable.i think I waited 3 long years lol but was worth it I feel like I help them make a really great posable figure for us artist.good job stickybones now to put the second one together lol and make some drawings

yeah it came usps they sent a survey kit and then you pay for shipping since they are located in the bay area I got it pretty quick as for order I ordered mines back in Jan/Feb 2016. So last week I paid for shipping and right away a tracking number on the survey kit page for usps. It showed the different stages of production from the warehouse getting ready to ship.

The metal piece that looks like a bottle-what is that for?
Hi! The metal piece that looks like a bottle can be used a couple different ways: If you were among the earliest backers and received an extra set of toes without magnets, the metal piece is used to place and easily remove a loose magnet in the toe(loose magnet can be purchased at home depot or amazon--12mmx3mm)when added control is desired, such as during a walk cycle, where you might want to remove the magnet as the toe/foot lifts of the ground to better prevent the toe from pulling back down to the surface of the ground. (If using the metal pose plate or metal performance stage.) The wide side is used to pull the magnet out and the thin side is used to remove the toe cap, by pushing through the small hole and pulling upward. There are some other cool things you can do with the metal piece, and we plan to create a video for that. Cheers!
I’m so GLAD that stickybones exist cause they make drawing thing’s more more easy and there are like really really Poseable which I like figures that can do ... (47!) points of articulation which is probably the highest I’ve ever seen but if my calculations are wrong correct me in the comments Please 👍

I like this a lot! But I seem to have got 8 finger bases instead of 6 + 2 thumb bases. They all look identical, the thumb bases should be more round at the base?

What is that metal tip at the far right? What is it for? Does the package include that too?
Oh yes! That is the magnet wand. It has uses mostly pertaining to Stop Motion, but it can also do some cool non-stop motion related things. We will post a video dedicated to the magnet wand soon. Right now, early backers are getting one for free with their Stickybones. But it's not something that will always come with Stickybones. Cheers!

Hi Jose, for this first version our priority is simplification and ease of use. In the future depending upon demand, we will offer a hand pack that could potentially include four fingers and a thumb. Cheers!

I was asking myself the same thing and assumed it was for ease of manufacturing and that good artist can probably add the fifth one in their drawings :) I'm not that good with hands but I'll try my hand at it lol

Can you make the stickybone cheaper pleas like 50 dollers
Why not save up so you can pay for the incredible hard work they've put into this over the last couple years? It's worth it. I doubt Stickybones wants to lose money by almost halving the cost for some random CZcams commenter.
