去年这会我在加东出海看鲸鱼，那天的云很多很厚，遮挡住了阳光，少了与天空之间的反射和吸收，离岸边越远海水的颜色就越发墨黑。咸湿的海风伴着摇晃的船，让人昏昏欲睡。直到一阵惊呼传来，远处出现了鲸鱼群。
那一刻的心情，直到现在我都记忆犹新，也直到现在，都无法用文字准确形容。
我们在远处平行跟随着它们一路乘风破浪；也在必经之路上停掉发动机，看着它们与船体相向而行，在快要靠近的时候沉入海中，几秒后，背鳍划破另一侧的海面。
船长告诉我，出海的时候人类守住与大自然的规矩，来年这些鲸鱼还会如约而至。
我也曾在加勒比海潜过水，当时背着氧气罐下沉的心情与这首《海底》的感觉颇为相似，海水的温度越来越低，四周的光亮越来越少，心跳和呼吸的声音越来越清晰。那是一种被孤寂包裹的状态，但也让人感到沉静，脑海里没有繁杂的工作生活与晦涩的人情世故，只有专注与探索。
--单细胞生物从海底用了30亿年进化为人类，结果，人类却开始惧怕自己来时的路。
有时我更愿意将这种“惧怕”理解为“敬畏”：对于大自然和生命的敬畏。
这个世界总是对每个人都褒有相同的爱和善意。无意向海之时，浪都在用力将它推回岸边；高空坠落之时，风都在用力将它向上托起。
所以，其实真正让人感到惧怕的，是人心吧。
--它们能赐予希望，也能带来绝望。
愿我们的胸腔中跳动的那颗，属于前者。
