This is the first safety video I watched on my first airplane ride to Los Angeles CA on my trip to New Zealand so this video will hold a special place in my heart
@@polyholly1 There were a number of agencies involved, but our studio handled all the animation. The studio is called Titmouse, located in Los Angeles, CA.
The safety instructions are usually bland and boring or just plane irritating. But this Delta production is brilliant with enough abstract humor and wild animation like the emergency lights going on indefinitely. The characters climbing and grabbing things out of their panels was brilliant.
Everyone on the plane watching this: this is so boring- Me: YASS IM TOO EXCITED WHAT THE HECK HOW YALL IN SUCH A MOOD- IM SO EXCITED I-I WHSIWJSIWHSUWHSi But this year I prob can’t :( HATE U COVID
Also can someone like tip these ppl- (okay don’t take me srsly but) Like when I was like what 5- on the airplane and my mom was gonna change ze baby’s diapers- (be mature 💀) and the ppl there were SO NICE they were like “want some orange juice sweetheart :)?” Like OMG OMG OMG and im 11 and they’re and were still so freaking nice, even to my parents like omg luv them so much I 100% would recommend y’all to take a flight at Delta 😌🥰
Interested to know who created the animation. The style - including the periodic off-the-wall wackiness - makes me think of Robert Smigel and J. J. Sedelmaier, referring to their “The Ambiguously Gay Duo” cartoon series on SNL.

@@pauljordan4452 Yes. When I take people flying (I'm a private pilot) I will specifically call out that the airplane seat buckle releases by pulling UP on a part of it, rather than pushing a button down, like in a car.
I had to find this video after seeing it on a flight the other day. Shit got me fucked up, y'all. I'm still fucked up. But I also p[aid attention to the whole thing, which I guess was the point so. GG Delta
Nostalgia 😫
this is best airline
I’m going to Orlando on may 1 and flying this airlines but I been on one and in first class it’s so nice
3:36 the girl smile
ngl its the best to play in the background in FSX or XPlane10

This is one of my favorite safety videos.

That's your daughter? Cool. She did a good job.
Your daughter looks very pretty
what is the song behind this safety video I love it!!!
I'm so glad that I was part of this production!
Who did the animation? Which company?
@@polyholly1 There were a number of agencies involved, but our studio handled all the animation. The studio is called Titmouse, located in Los Angeles, CA.
Fun
I wish they would've been clear that you don't inflated your vest until you're outside the plane, tho
I'm flying Delta tomorrow, so I'm basically watching spoilers
Broooo same...
lol
Me tooo 🤣
same: I'm flying today
How was your flight?
I’m flying tomorrow morning at 3:00 AM! So excited to fly delta again.
Delta always has the best safety videos. This one is my favourite.
I've seen that video on the Delta Airlines when my family and I were flying from New Orleans, Louisiana, to Salt Lake City, Utah.
This is a postmodern masterpiece.
This video makes me feel like I’m eating a delta cookie.
OH MY GOD I LOVE DELTA COOKIES
I love this safety video 👍🏻

*You're a 2-D Character in a saftey video*
The Earth: Am I a joke to you?
xXNothing_SpecialXx Ahh yes, another flat earther. Really great.
Flat earthers: OMG! YES YES YES! ANOTHER FRIEND OF OURS!
I can’t like when they did Christmas special and 80s safety video
I saw this when I went to Orando from Nagoya airport.
I have to listen to this. Gosh I miss flying!
You're a 2-D Character in a safety video.

Whomever made this video is genius. Delta is genius. Video is based and meta. Breaking the 4th wall and creative beyond all others.
@@xuxnx are you paid by delta who the Fuck says “based and meta”
@@jellobean3614 What the hell kind of slang is that?
@@xuxnx What is it based on? Meta means transcending. Say self referential instead of meta and these slang terms nobody understands.
Taking inspiration from their partners Virgin Atlantic! Very nice!
I'm booking a ticket on Delta so I can watch this again
good way to waste your money just to watch a video
Just repeat the video
It’s a joke people 🙄
This was on my flight this year. I actually Mike their new videos. :)
I can feel myself getting airplane dizziness right now from just hearing this
Ah yes, we had this one, best safety video ever
The #1 airline
Everyone: Delta Airlines is so cool!
John Mulaney: okAyyyy
Love it! I wish Archer and Lana had made a cameo.

beautiful and informative!!
That's was really cool...
Wow I've never seen animation in a safety video I might have to sit through this when I fly Delta to St Thomas U.S.V.I in July
Fun fact:
This video was made during a flight to a hipster convention.
I got really high before a flight out of San Francisco and this video is trippy as hell.
Was that the best thing to do?
1:25 was the perfect opportunity for deltalina
If anyone is here from Settled's video, the face thing is at 3:22
me after every rule: Okaaaay
Well edited.
I’m on delta today to flordia
Deltalina needed to make a 2-D appearance!
this was really nice to see.
much better than the bland "hi I'm CEO and from everyone here at company, thank you for giving us your money"
That's a fact
i am picturing an animated version of Ed Bastian
this would be cool

Ryan Air doesn't need a safety card, it's everyone for themselves in that plane
True true
TRUE RYAINAIR SUCKS
That’s why it’s not copyrighted, I THINK
Their safety instructions are on the seatbacks.
This art style really reminds me of Chris Ware. Any ideas if there are credits for this vid?
N510DN has this video
I love this airline so much
Conor Clancy I love frontier Airlines
Weird but ok
I do too!!!!!! 😀😀✈️✈️
Me to
3:8..Scooby doo? Fred??
First time flying next month... I'm terrified...
Look up cognitive defusion.
@@pauljordan4452 wow, I forgot I left this comment. Kind of a tear jerker. It's been a wild two years. The flight went great. Best decision I made.
Back to the quirky. :)
Why did Mai from Avatar make an appearance at 2:32?
Epic
It feels like Hanna Barbera with these designs...along with comic books

It's actually because it doesn't obviously function like a vehicle seatbelt.

I flew to San Francisco with Delta today
Whomever made this video is genius.
I thought you guys framed someone for murder
Delta is way better than spirit airlines
Yeah so nice
I remember back in 2012 they had that creepy ass robot in JetBlue and Delta safety videos. I was only 6 so that was fckin scary.
Nice)
I'm making a ytp of this
You said the plane was delayed 9 hours but when I was in the bathroom the employee said it took off while I was in the bathroom because you hate me
I actually, really want to know where y'all get these HD safety videos.
So when are we going to talk about the flight attendant giving the lumbersexual his face back?
*Why am I Watching This?*
AND I GO OKAAAAAAAAAAY
I was in delta
1:20. Where is Deltalina when we need her!
Leanne Strong The orange hair looked like Deltalina, without the finger wag
Anyone here because of J1mmy and the face falling off thing?
"Every time we take off, we try to make the world a little smaller"... just like the leg room for our passengers
So have never been on Delta..
whats the song playing in the background called
Does anyone know what model airplane this is or what aircraft this is?
Narrow body. 737-800?
Am i the only who has seen this video so much
From Mary Poppins Returns
I had to find this video after seeing it on a flight the other day. Shit got me fucked up, y'all. I'm still fucked up. But I also p[aid attention to the whole thing, which I guess was the point so. GG Delta
Am I the only one that has memorized this
I like the music better on other recent safety videos. This video was too quiet for my liking.
Do they have different versions of this video for each type of plane (ie. A320, 757, etc.)?
Yes, they only change small stuff that apply to the a/c type
Creighton Rabs Do you know what type of plane this is? Every plane is different.
Who likes the comedic one?
I went on two airplanes today and fled on Delta Airlines! Good airlines and awesome for at class
Delta a america 🇺🇸. Airlines
What if instead of animated humans they used animated reddit avatars.
we try to make the world a little smaller 0:03 so they're trying to shrink the population by crashing the airplane!?
Settled sent me
was really hoping to see a face on the floor
I hope they don't make the world a little smaller by cramming more seats in the plane, and taking away leg room.

They clearly say not to help your kid first. First you, then the child.
Because if you pass out, then both die.
