We would always encourage you to try things and not take our word as gospel. We know there are folks out there that are getting a kick from it. But yes, a familiar story of mobile games and micro-transactions. 🙂

If Diablo Immortal isn't a bad game, then what is a bad game? In a pool of amazing games, we are setting the bar incredibly low if we are suggesting Immortal clears the bar of 'bad'.
The game is a slot machine with extra steps - it's absolutely terrible. It's probably the worst ARPG I've ever played. I literally cannot think of another ARPG that is obviously worse than Immortal.

I mean for mobile game polish, it's definitely quite a high standard, but absolutely, the micro-transactions are hideous and overall would be an avoid unless you are happy just to play for the story.

All blizzard games have a certain level of polish. It's part of their brand. As an analogy, pretty cars can still suck, after all.

@@lardoram For sure, I just don't think anyone here is claiming Diablo Immortal to be a top tier game. Would I recommend it? No. But can someone get enjoyment from the story while on the fly with no cost? Potentially. 🤷‍♂
