- This is my homemade washing machine drum fire pit, great for burning scrap wood. This one can also be used to make fire tornados as the drum rotates and turns, I also made a grill so it can be used as a barbeque

Great job I just turned the belt wheel upside down and used it as a stand
کیا خوبصورت ویڈیو بنائی ہے 👌💞🤲🏼👍
That is so over engineered and time consuming…….. brilliant! That’s how all home projects should be built. 👍
Best washing machine fire pit ever! 👍 👍
Free, design, efficient, useful. Top !
Awesome unique "Creative" "Recycling" rarely seen nowadays!
Outstanding intricate creative thought put into reality.
I've thought of different possible uses of expired Washing Machine Stainless Steel Tubs as well.
I came up with the following thoughts;
Various uses such as perfect for an "Apocalypse " Hand crank Washing Machine tub. For Clothing, Food for the gardener or farmer as as a Big "Colander" or make a crank washing machine tub to hold and strain clean food. Like Fruits& Vegetables , potatoes carrots. Or for even Game animals Sea Food etc.
For Ammunition Reloaders of Metallic Cartridges to clean the used fired Metallic Cartridges.
( Note once used for cleaning
metallic cartridges which fired Lead Bullets such it should not be anymore used for cleaning food clothing etc).
Or for the Winemaker as a Grape Press to make Wine.
For pet owners a safety holding vessel for your unique pets to keep them safe and under watchful eye.
Or for the Sportsperson / Survivalist for use as a Holding area for Aquafood or make an Eel, Crab/ Crustacean Trap.
Or as a Cooker Hot Smoker combo.
Way to go! Keep up the awesome ingenutive creative recycling. Safe Journeys.
Very skilled artisan !! Very nice....
this is the funniest well functioning vid! good job!
Great video! You have amazing metal working skills!
Thanks for sharing your idea. I've got the bowl. I want to build a smelter furnace for aluminium. I want to make pulleys for a belt grinder/sander. Thanks. You did so well with your build. Good job. Thanks
This channel is under-watched... Its Great!👌
Awesome Sean 👍🏼
That's pretty impressive!
Fantastic, when I make mine I use the leg from a bar stool and a length of 10mm stud to hold it together.
Watching this after i found a giant commercial dryer drum. Thought it was a fire pit untill I got home lol, then saw people make pits out of them. Looks like I have a project now lol. Only prob is it's about 3 times the size of the one in video. Was thinking about burning it half way but worried about root fires. I'll figure something out.
Awesome Job!!!!
Beau travail bravo.
Home made wood burning drum. ... Dang, that's in insane amount of work. But, i will try the drum thrown onto some cement blocks though. Thanks for the video!
😂😭
Great project to use my powerarc on. I could really use a nice fire pit in the back
Ingenioso el sistema de giro per se te arrebataron los choris !!
que bien exelente mente muy bien felicitaciones
Brilliant.
Sean, this is awesome. Now I want to make one.
Good skills but louzy bq.

Excelent!!!
It seems like a lot of work. I would just kicked the washing mashing over and thrown coal in it
Cool! I watch. I learn! ;- )
sean looks great , you have an awesome welder any recomendations?
Good job sir, good idea.👍👍👏
I'mm gonna use my Cov!d lockdown new tig skills to do this on our busted washing machine, but with a twist...
I watched the whole video. Now you owe me a hot dog bro.
Did you need the wire mesh around it for the fire tornado effect to work when spinning the drum?
👌👌
Nice
Free washing machine drum. $40,000.00 mechanical engineering degree. :) lol cool vid.
This guy makes it look easy I've don't a few and they are a night mare to take apart his model looks easy but the 3 I've tried to do I still can't get the back off the drum, I watched this video to see if it does but it doesn't and his back seems to come off easily, what make and model is your washing machine?
Son of a Einstein
A lot of work and materials, with that money I buy one ready made.
Where did you find that bender ? Very nice !
I have been using one for years and they are my favorite. I want to try to incorporate one into a wood gas fire pit, (smokeless). I think the casing you took off in the beginning would work for that purpose. Have you tried making one before?
I have a drum that is a transformer, I often light it with the holy drum, then slip outer cover over it , and for burning leafs, I'll start it open, add outer cover, and a dryer tub that I'll shove and stomp leafs into then flip over and onto top of pit while running a dryer vent motor onto a 4" to 10" home made adapter that forces air in from bottom and sides, makes for one gecko of an incinerator. My next one however will be higher off the ground, wider axles, and an internal stirring system

Miom miam😋😋💪💪
Hello Sean,
I hope this message finds you well. Amazing job on the fire pit. The tornado effect is absolutley awesome.
I was wondering if the fire pit is still going strong. Been looking at making one myself and recently got the spin drum from a Samsung washer, but magnets readily stick to it so it is not a high grade of stainless steel if at all.
I don't want to put the time into a project like this only to have the bottom fall out (litterally) after a few uses. I am concerned about the thinness of the metal and the fact that it seems to have high iron content for longevity.
Please let us all know and thanks so much for sharing your build. Your skills are truly great and you have another subscriber. Keep up the good work.
I think if it doesn't work with magnets it's a higher quality stainless steel.
👍👏🇹🇷👍👏
İstanbul
Good job but not clear for what. To grill something once a month?
It's mine now hoo hoo hahahaha
What happened if you use the water inlet to fill it with gas?
I think I would burn the garden down
Does drum rust after fire and heat after some time?
Wondering the same thing....it's thin metal.
@@alessandriaj7265 I find out it's a some kind SS steal with magnetic properties 400 something grade.
Are you running stainless in your mig?
no
Is the drum from stainless steel ?
Husband material for sure lol
Do you make and sell them I havent got the time or the tools to make my own
I appreciate the liberal use of brute force in this video
Where can i buy the rollerbender?
sorry you have to build one
Or you could try a Rollerbender shop !! 😂😂😂
now there's your dinner.. " Taryl Fixes All "
How do you get the ash out 🤷
Excellent question. I’ve had my washing machine drum fire pit for years, and love it. I get the ash out by picking the thing up and emptying it into the wheelie bin (a couple of days later when all the fire is out and cold). But this is really messy.
I’m on here to find a better way of emptying it.
make and let me offer to get one . I camp alot. Pay shipping on my tab
a fantastic piece but too much welding shown. please edit in future, we get the point.
the whole item is over engineered . just use a washing drum fixed to a flat plate and add a griddle on top.
who else thought this was not going to have that many steps from the initial intro? I literally thought it was going to be.
1. Pull out drum
2. Attach to something to stand on
3. Bobs your uncle
fair play though, cool build.
I would have given the wash machine a kick or two
Mythbusters were going to give you a job but you were over qualified.
Зачем разобрал родной механизм, а потом собрал такой же???
Ok so…Go university for 3+years get an engineering degree 📝 graduate 👨🎓 then go find washing machine then destroy said washer to make amazing fire 🔥 pit! Easy 😂
abit OTT, ALL THAT FOR A BBQ,
never, always best to go to the extreme
So, I have the drum. What’s ur address so I can send it and you make me one? Serious skills bro
Шляпа...
Too bad you totally skipped the process of taking apart the washing machine
dont want to put people off watching
You serious?it's joke right?🤣🤣
very not a joke
Overkill
Lotsa work. Boring
Я не видел ваши видео, но дошёл до того что и вы, но ещё есть регулировка по высоте!
