Other than the series of Irish Hands films this is the best thing I have found on CZcams and it's all because of the narrator. How could you not like that guy? or not be interested in what he talks about?
Eamon was before his time. If Dublin tours had people like Eamon today they would have the master on Dublin history. Every school should have these films shown to them. They would be great, so much has changed in Dublin since these were made. A great introduction to a new generation of Dubliners😮. ☘️✌🏻
I'm sitting here watching this at the height of the Corona virus lockdown in Dublin 30/03/2020..it's approximately 2pm... hopefully it will be over soon and everything back to normal... anyway who ever else is watching...enjoy
11th November 2020 and we are still in the lockdown. To be accurate this is offically the second lockdown but we never got out of the first one. It was only supposed to be for a few weeks to "flatten the curve Do you remember ". No end in sight. The great abuse continues.
@@praisebewibble absolutely..talk of a different Christmas..then another possible lockdown in January..bit of a nightmare alright, exact same amount of deaths as 2018 and 2019.. slightly lower in fact
Great place the green ,very historical nice to visit after tour round city. I remember going Dandelion market across the road, all gone now, big shopping centre. 😠

He gave walking tours of Dublin in the 80s.
One of the only places in Dublin that hasn't changed. .
