I have watched her dance with a dozen guys and she is always great, she and her boyfriend are amazing, I've seen him dance with half a dozen too and he is a star no questions asked, BUT The Two of These Two Together are in a whole other class of dancers. They make each other better and they know how to not just move but to joyfully play while blending and mixing beats to movement to partner. I hope the two of you link up and work as a team profressionally. I know you have a partner and he is great but You and Jordan are the stuff movies are made about. Seriously, together you are that good and trust me I danced for one of the very top Latin Formation Premier League. I know the difference between great dancers and Magic. You and Jordan have Magic.

They then have been used a lot by North African soldiers, who took it with them in France (at that time they where called "les zouaves" which has a negative connotation nowadays (as French I can say our country has been built on many shady things, to say the least). After that it had a bad connotation in some countries (where French soldiers went, like Algeria), cause some of the soldiers, rapped women, and only gave her their own sarouel to cover themselves after. So any girl coming back with a sarouel was a victim and everyone knew it. (but it's not that who make the sarouel disappear from military clothing, but the fact it was deemed "impractical") Then hippies used it again, and only years after, MC Hamer wore one and made it hype again. Then, we used to wear a lot of them in the French rave/free party community (and in other European countries like Italy or Germany etc) Maybe it's gonna make a come back ones again. Fashion is cyclical and "forgiving" and resilient. Anyway, it was just to pass the time. I'm not into fashion or history, but as we say here "la culture c'est comme la confiture, moins on en a, plus on l'étale" aka something like "culture is like marmelade : the less we have, the more we spread it" (in a cocky/"showing off" kind of way, when it comes to the culture part) But maybe it gonna be interesting to someone anyway. Who knows ^^.

One thing in common - the moves are executed TO THE MUSIC. Telegraphing movement is something that comes from extensive practice & these artists have perfected it.
