Did you have to modify the steering shaft of the Tilt unit clamp itself? I have a Simplicity from a friend with similar tilt issues that I was asked to fix. Did you have to re-drill the housing to it to bolt up to the tractor? Just curious if I want to get involved with this, I got the tractor to get it running after sitting for years. Thanks in advance for your answer. Liked the video BTW.
@@Letsgocarcruising I got the Morse and it was a direct fit, the lady who owns the mower is tickled to death that it's now fixed. So glad I stumbled across your video, thanks!
Sorry, I don’t. They’re not in business any longer so you have to source a used one. I found mine on eBay. They appear every now and then. I just used the stare and compare method.
Thanks man, I just picked one up with steering all blow out .

No drilling or modifications needed. I just removed the bottom aluminum piece of the u-joint and swapped the original tractor part with the boat part.

Do have a part number for the tilt steering assembly from Morse that you can share?
