    Awesome video. I need to get some more upgrades for mine. I've only added a bearing kit and the aluminum drive shaft so far.

    That kit was my 36th RC build. It is 1 of my favorite models. My GF says I say that about every one of my models...and she's right, but that car is a fun build and when upgraded, it is one of the most balanced and most fun cars to drive. I love mine.

      @@JohnBattistini00 that sounds awesome, maybe once I’m vaccinated we can do something.
      I must say, seeing what you made with your oldest (APEX episode), I want a 3D printer. My son would ask me for a dinosaur, but throw a tantrum cause it’s so slow. 2 year olds don’t have great patience.

    Even when you cant see the motor mount, is very useful.
    I had a issue with my ESC, the motor overheat and melt all the plastic mount.
    You can't see the metal mount but is a great update

      Really I don't think that make the difference. The metal one is aluminium, very light and is not a big part.
      The difference in weight are almost insignificant in this case.
      I don't think we can see a diference in performance. Really

    thanks for this build series. I'm about to build my first RC car kit which is going to be a TT-02B. and a lot of these extra parts are what I was looking to get for my build. Most of these will work in the TT-02B as well. This helps me to know exactly what I need.

    • @JohnBattistini00
      @JohnBattistini00  Před 3 lety +2

      Some may not fit. If the B is the "buggy" then some of the parts are unique for that version. I actually ran into this in the build, where I ordered hubs for the B and they did not fit on mine. so just double-check if you need a specific "B" version for your build. Glad you liked the series!

    • @JohnBattistini00
      @JohnBattistini00  Před 2 lety

      I do. There is a list of all the parts in the description of each video but the one on the final Backyard Bash should detail everything that was used for the entire build. Here's a link to that video: czcams.com/video/84M_gePp7Wo/video.html

    Can you still use the stock differential with a brushless motor or do you absolutely need the hop up differential?

    • @JohnBattistini00
      @JohnBattistini00  Před 3 lety

      I haven't tried personally, but I don't see when you couldn't if the KV of the motor isn't too crazy. There are lots of other builds I have seen on youtube that drop in a brushless with the stock diffs.
