This MH3 series before the set fully releases is seriously a master stroke by yungdingo and Spike, a bunch of brews around the new card with tons of different matchups to watch is fantastic.
Dingo declaring he wouldn't bolt a siren and then immediately doing it in game 2 is pretty funny.
21:27 if Im not mistaken, sink into stupor can only return permanents controlled by an opponent
everyone hating on the sirens is fucking high, it's a high synnergy 1 drop that sacs to cast flare of denial, the card is perfect in this deck. 10/10 would include
The only thing yungdingo was embarassed by was the beating he took on forest flares from that puny 1/1 flyer
@@dylanm.4875 Tbf to him that forest flare ramp deck looked wildly unplayable. the siren isn't bad, but there will be plenty of spots in which you would rather have something like a tamiyo in its place. Of course it's great when you have nadu going unanswered. But against a more interactive deck that kills your stuff making clues is much better
@@Vermilio893 the thing is if your opp does have removal, siren leaves a map token in play immediately where as tamiyo requires you to not only untap but to attack and she gets 0 value from being blinked by a phelia
@@Vermilio893 also the clue token does not trigger nadu but a map token does and requires half the mana to sac
@@dylanm.4875 If your opponent has removal, they will most of the time not kill your siren, but rather save it for phelia and nadu. Tamiyo on the other hand requires an answer. Also I totally see the upside of siren, but it's bad to always assume you have a nadu in play. It's better deckbuilding to plan for the cases in which you don't have it all
It didn’t come up this match, but I like how Phalia can rescue back nonland permanents stolen via Invert Polarity.
loving these new brews and looks at mh3 cards!
could there be space in nadu for Outrider en-kor as an instant speed trigger (or maybe in the combo version)
Tamiyo and Phelia looking like the best 2 cards for me personally. Phelia being able to nug a clue token is kind of a funny interaction that will come up frequently I would imagine
Sorry, how does nadu shuko draw the whole deck with the 2x per turn clause?
It doesn't, but if you have like 3/4 other creatures in play you can draw like 5 or 6, put 2 or 3 lands in play, then ephemerate Nadu and get separate instance of the ability on all creatures, draw like 5 of 6, put 2 or 3 lands in play again, maybe play a creature and draw 2 again, ephemerate, do it again for 10+ cards and that's already 26+ cards deep with 4 or 5 mana untapped and some number of Flare of Denials. At that point you just Solitude whatever's in the way and beat down with flyers and Cryptic Coat until they're dead with multiple Flare of Denial backup.
2 times per turn per creature
@@TheSLATEcleaner ah, cool
@TheSLATEcleaner that sounds sarcastic, it actually is cool
@@kaythough9604 The way the ability works, flickering Nadu or casting anothe Nadu and sacrificing the first one creates instances of the ability that are distinct from the instances of the first Nadu/Nadu object pre-blink, so Ephemerate essentially resets the trigger count to 0 for each creature. It lets the deck absolutely pop the Nadu off with Shuko.
loving this series, however i have a camera suggestion, should be opposite the deck. so for this video spikes face should be bottom screen, yungdingo top.
Dingo really should have no given up. Not because he had a chance. He didn't, but so the viewers could see how powerful it is.
Whose Beta Counterspells are those?
and Beta bolts?!
Did Dingo paint his fingernails?
Yes
I feel like venerated rotpriest could definitely go well with nadu but I’m definitely no brewer lol
if there was a way to make it a toolbox deck where you can tutor for it somehow as a wincon maybe? but if you're going off targeting your own creatures, you're probably winning anyways so seems win more
Probably as a sideboard if the new soul-sister deck can become meta
Rotrpriest isn't triggered by abilities, only spells.
@@PhilosopherKing1592 I don’t recall stating it was triggered by abilities.
Erykah BaNTNAdu: Paper MTG is more goated than chevre.
Tamiyo is so bad…
These decks are super bad, weaker then the current meta lol lgs decks
