My good friend Ellie Weingardt played the charm school teacher in a League of their own. She told me a few funny stories of meeting all of the great celebrities in this movie and things that happened on the set. It had to be fun to be a part of it! Great video Jordan!
So your giid friend is a snitch that told you the secrets of other people. Snitches end up in ditches with stitches.
@@simonseville1037 Nothing secret at alL. I'd hardly consider stories of when they met secrets. She was part of the movie not the paparazzi trying to sneak around filming it
One of my favorite movies.
Thank you for sharing this story. Rockford is proud of our team
Great movie! Glad they still have the memorabilia from the movie. Everyone was great in the movie. It's a favorite of mine but haven't seen it in a long time. Thanks for the tour!
I love how they are playing Don't Stop Believin in the background. I'm such a huge Steve Perry fan. Great video Jordan. Thanks for doing this for us. Stay safe and take care.
Love this movie! It’s one of those comforting ones from my childhood. Thanks again Jordan. Blessings to you, Katie and Jah. ~Love&Light♥️Carli
I totally agree.. I think its one of my favorite tom hanks movies!
Avoid the clap.- Jimmy Dugan 🤣 Love this and the movie. Super Awesome! Thank you!
That’s good advice
This was fantastic. Love that the town's have really embraced the movie & the original team. Such a classic. Thanks for going back Jordan.
It's so crazy because from thrift stores I've found the OST CD/ VHS/ DVD and recently the BR of this movie. One of my all time favorite baseball movies along with The Sandlot/ Rookie of the Year/ Major League 1/2 lol. Thanks for sharing
What a wonderful film with so many memorable lines, I remember back when the film was getting ready to come out Tom Hanks came to Fenway and did an interview during the Sox broadcast to promote the film.
Loved it! It's good to see the stadium and field in good shape and still being used!
Thank you Jordan!! One of my favorite movies
This was amazing to watch. A League of Their Own is a Fantastic Film. Cool to see the filming locations.
I love your vlogs Jordan! I love how you know your stuff about the movie etc and make me feel like I'm right there!!!!
They filmed a bunch at Upland Memorial Park in California too, as well as Jay Littleton Ball park in California in Ontario.

Thank you Jordan for this awesome vlog! My dad and grandparents were all born and raised in Rockford IL. They are very proud of the Rockford Peaches. ❤
What a fantastic trip you just took us all on. You really hit it out of the park with this one Jordan. Thank you so much.
I sat outside bosse field on my bicycle in Evansville that summer and listened to the 50 takes they filmed of the lady singing the national anthem.
That movie is perfection until Dottie throws the game
Bill pullman coming back from the war to be with Dottie Henson. He was great in Spaceballs and Independence day.
'A League of their Own' is such a great movie - thank you for producing such a great vlog to celebrate it. Safe travels Jordan & Jah.

I heard you mention Cheap Trick too--one of my two fave bands, both from Illinois, the other being REO Speedwagon. Thanks again, safe travels. Love, hugs & God Bless you 💕💕
A League of Their own ⚾️ Love my favorite one fan BIG movie DVD 📀 💖💖💖💖💖🎶
Thanks awesome video and awesome movie I enjoyed watching
Great video. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen this movie. Fave part is “you’re gonna lose” Then Jimmy pegs the mit at him… haha and Jimmys reaction “Got him!”
This was really fun. League of Their Own is an entertaining movie. Thanks 😊
Holy crap!!! You were in my neck of the woods! I cross that bridge in the beginning every day going to work in Owensboro and currently live about 10 miles away from Huntingburg! Wow!
Loved it!!!

thank you jordan...........keepem coming buddy!
A League Of Their Own. One Of The Best movie ever!!
It's a great movie and it also great getting to see all places they flim at thank you for sharing this video
Interesting retrofit of a very familiar stadium setting in Rockford at the original playing field. At 31:25(1959), a glimpse of the track, next to the concrete stadium stands, where the revised third baseline and dugout are now. We played football, ran track, and watched a circus here back in the 50s and 60s and 70s years before many of us homies had ever heard of the Peaches.
song makes me cry at the end of the movie, im not ashamed of it
AND WHAT ABOUT MARLA HOOCH?/ WHAT A HITTER!
Thanks for sharing very cool brother!!✌️🇺🇲
I loved this movie and I really enjoyed this vlog about thank you Jordan.
Great video Jordan!
Loved this movie
Thanks for sharing this video! Im from Indiana runor has it that some of the celebrities in this movie complained that Indiana is boring, just a rumor..But Indiana is anything but boring. Maybe because they were stuck filming and not abel to get out and enjoy what we have to offer. But it was nice seeing Indiana get a spot in History. Thank you so much!
I’m from southern Indiana-sort of close to the other old stadium (where they filmed)! 😄 That’s a cool bus!!
Sam
Dang I live in Illinois between Rockford Springfield Peoria..should have pick me up.I would have went on this tour with ya...😊 CDOG
That was a good movie a league of their own i saw that movie on tv nice filming location in indiana i would love to see the filming locations good video jordan
We love you Jordan ❤❤❤❤
Racine had to win since in the first World Series Racine was the winners so they had to be accurate. Great that you showed us those places love A League of their Own.
Enjoyed again Jordan and Jah
Bosse field is in my hometown! Yay
Great Vlog Jordan, for one of my favorite movies ever. Tracy Nelson was in this movie too, daughter of Ricky Nelson. So cool!
I think Tracy was in the series not the movie
I just noticed that "L" in League of their own and at the stadium looks awfully familiar doesn't it? Id say it looks a lot like the "L" Laverne wore on her chest on her shirts in Laverne and Shirley. Im sure that was Penny Marshall's influence in the movie...
I literally just finished the movie!
awesome to see these places from the best movie of all time
Ty Jordan and Jah!
Oh Jordan forgot to mention the Racing Belles in 1950 spring training in my back yard and Larry Bird's hometown of West Baden/ French Lick Indiana.. wish I knew you were going to do this it was only 25 ish miles from the huntingburg field
Just watched the movie one night ago. We're thinking alike, lol
Geena Davis as the catcher for the Rockford peaches. Her sister kit keller got traded to racine where she won the world series with them.
Pretty Cool!, I used to live in the Evansville area "Newburgh" when I was a Kid "1965-81", I can't remember his name but the guy from the TV show Smallville was from Newburgh!
Michael Rosenbaum, I went to Castle High School and graduated with him.
@@billieglennbusch2189 Thanks!, I went to Castle too!, Class of 1981
The Illinois Railway Museum was also a League Of Their Own filming location. They are pet-friendly. Not very far from Woodstock, Illinois.
Huntingburg is only 40 ish miles from where I am Jordan cool that you were in my area or "neck of the woods"
I actually live in Rockford Illinois
The bar payed homage to Carly Simon with their sign
awesome
Ok, I wasn’t going to say anything. But I have to. The bus that you have in the video. Is a completely different bus that was in the movie. The bus in your video is a Crown. Crown is a manufacturer of buses, And fire trucks. They went out of business around the mid 80’s. The bus in the movie was manufactured by GM (General Motors), And NCL (National City Lines) is the company that ran those buses. A lot of drama between GM , And NCL. It’s a good read, I also believe the GM bus is a couple of years older than the bus in your video, The Crown. Not trying to clown you in anyway. Love your videos, I just wanted to share some information with you. I sure would love to know, Where that movie bus is???
I’ve heard that’s not the same bus. I think it was the Bombers bus, and made it the Peaches once they stopped using it.
Can you get access to where Art Bell did his shows from? ❤ Roswells.
There's no crying in baseball!!
Head on up to French Lick and show the filming locations of “So Cold the River” and “Blue Chips”.
Mandela Effect..
For years we said "God forbid we go to the world series without Stillwells toys". Even had a song named after it.
Watching your video I had to go look it up. Im a bit freaked out. 😅 He doesnt start it with God forbid.

0:08 The William Natcher bridge.
Bosse Field in Evansville Indiana is the location for the final game
I drive the stretch of Yankeetown Road often where the driver quit. The road and scenery is still the same.
Dew-boys is pronounced for Dubois.
Four blocks away was only the Dream Car Museum that is closed.
The Crawford Door building was almost demolished but a new owner bought it and uses it for a warehouse.
who was playing during that game
Jordan was within 20 miles of 2 more locations. The house where Dottie and Kit lived and the first field they played on in St.Phillips
One of my fave movies
