In contrast, for Hindus, the crime rates seem to align more closely with their population size. Man , being a brahmin hindu male coming from a proper middle class family , I belong to the most underprivileged minority in India, who nobody likes to talk about. Saying that All Hindus are the white boys of India is utterly absurd and baseless. Ranveer could have been more responsible talking in such a way just to raise the voices of non-hindus. The only difference between us and other minorities is that we don't cry about unfair things , instead we focus on how to make a living in this country and get out of the income bracket.

@@aditya_sharma9 concept of varnas like Brahmin, Kshatriya, vaishya and Shoodra may be older than 5000 years but Brahmin as cast has not more than 1000 years... every Hindu needs to fight for one thing just remove the case in all sorts of organizations and certificates and make a law that no one should do an cast specific gatherings and any sort of programs even if it is a digital gathering or sharing info. that will slowly kill the cast, not over the night but it will happen in 3 to 5 decades... and feed with the info that drives towards that goal.

As an Indian Christian I never feel threatened about practising my religion. Will be voting for PM modi in the next election and I agree that a lot of Christians don't like BJP, but that doesn't matter to me. If someone is working towards the progress of our country and also working towards reviving our great history then I'm all in for that person and for some reason I never felt that about Congress. It always felt that they were playing appeasement politics whether it was internally or globally.

you forget to mention that most of muslims are undertrials, which basically indicates the partiliality of system towards muslims. Mere FIR does not represent the true face, their is recent case of rajasthan where police book muslim for raping a minor which becomes false at the end. Where most black American children are growing up fatherless, Indian Muslim children are growing up in a joint family with many brothers and sisters, so they are not alone while growing up. The problem stems in upbringing and generational hate for others getting passed on. Where educational facilities are available for all, Muslims are actually not taking up the initiative to educate their children, which leads to a less developed youth not fit for technical jobs and thus resorting to crime. Where most black children are trying to become better to take care of their families, most Indian Muslim children are barred by their own religious institutions to take education from better places as it will "take them away from Islam". Emphasising the term "most", as i personally know many muslims who are educated enough and are actually doing good currently with their careers and they themselves have witnessed many of their religious leaders being skeptical and completely against modern education. There is legit no comparison between these two communities.

As an indian born as a Christian who became an atheist,i don't think there is much hate for Christians compared to muslims,but i think some of the concerns of the haters are valid, because the Muslim ideology is inherently about multiplying and spreading their religion,the people who understand this will feel threatened by the muslim ideology and consequently start hating all muslims but there is no clear way to fight back against this threat so some people resort to violence when it is combined with political manipulation,i think the BJP government has done a pretty good job,but it is true that religious tensions have increased.

We need to have honest conversation about religion and its interaction with state law , we need to have genuine and honest conversation about what kind of society do we want to build , if any ideology or religion starts to operate outside of framework of the constitution then it's a serious problem , fundamental problem is vote bank politics , and media machine which runs on TRP .. these are the two major elements that add fuel to the fire .

Let me clarify for every one here…. Muslim are not at all bad people, they are just as human as we are. The only problem is the source from which they draw their learnings & inspirations. It also depends on how much religiously they follow those learnings. Parsi’s don’t feel threatened despite being just a few thousand. If someone doing something wrong or illegal, then he claims that he feels threatened by police, does that make him right?

Jews are one of the smallest community in india. Buddhists,Jains,Parsis also. These community doesn't have that much political influence like Muslims and Christians but they doesn't feel threatened but interestingly the 15% of our population does.

Bro i live in a tier 3 city in india, my relative lives in absolute muslim majority area, i have many muslim friends and i can 100% say barring few incidents which happen on both sides, muslims in india lives the most secure and happiest lives, equal education, healthcare and job opportunities. This is just a worldwide narrative against a stable and strong govt to bring them down, also intresting part is minorities deep down knows this fact but will never come out in social media or echochmaber to debunk this because they want political appeasement from the govt, and that's what blews my mind, i have seen many hindus speaking for muslims even though nothing major scrutinization or discrimination is happening, but never seen muslims say that dont block roads for prayers it disturb other public. As once mr vajpayee ji said jab tak hindu majority mein hai desh secular hai. Bjp controlled states are the most peaceful states in recent times in terms lf communal clashes while i live in WB, and here under the so called secular tmc govt there have been mass incidents against hindus, and pure discrimination, we feel threatened tbh because muslims here feel they can get away with anything because tmc is in govt only bcoz of their votes, and their vites doesn't get divided. I can give you many many examples be it bihar were hindu festival holidays were not given in school but 3 day holiday on eid was given. He means privileged, we are privileged a society seeped in the consciousness of caste. We were protesting against widow remarriage and child marriage abolition just 150 years from now. And over a dozen anti caste laws. We have privileges the data supports it that there is overwhelming representation of hindus especially upper caste in lucrative positions in this country in both govt, education, healthcare, commerce, law and journalism sectors.

I disagree with Ranveer referring to Hindus as 'white boys.' I believe he may not fully grasp the privileges associated with being white in Western countries, a context vastly different from the challenges faced by Hindus in India. Comparing Hindus to white boys is not the most accurate representation.
That's exactly what I have cautioned about in my long comment. They are using these words without grasping the depth of 'white' privilege. Before saying stuff like this, these guys should be doing more research. I don't know if it's the implicit 'feel cool' factor that made him say this or what but I expected so much better and more caution from these guys.

Let me tell you one important thing about being a CENTRIST. When you go deeper into an ideology and you believe everything it says, then and only then you will start seeing the flaws and face the questions that will question the whole ideology itself. Haven't you seen hardcore leftists turning into the right wing and vice-versa? So you being a centrist is stopping you from seeing things as they truly are. If you're a centrist, both sides can manipulate you with twisted interpretation of data. So my advice to you, Ranveer, is that you give yourself 6 months to be full right wing and then be full left wing. Read literature of both sides, follow people of both sides but not all at once, but alternatively like i said above.
And if you want to know why? One simple reason is concentration. Concentration reveals truth.
You can be better than a centrist. A centrist can't take a stand on anything because that takes a strong belief system and a centrist lacks one. When your belief system is based on self-tested things, you have conviction and confidence to take a stand.

Calling Hindus as "White Boys" is not only crass and disrespectful but shows the westernized outlook. The 'white boys' of the west were racist and treated individuals of other skin colour as inferior. But in India, the reverse was taking place post Islamic and European invasions, where Hindus were treated as inferiors and outcasts in their own country for no fault of theirs. In fact, it continues to this day. Saying that Hindus opinions on that matter holds no validity just reinforces the ideology of the invaders.
The only reason Ranveer said this is to tread carefully and no hurt the "minority sentiments".
Also, Ganesh spoke way less than Ranveer and made way more sense than him. One just cannot compare Palki Sharma with propagandists like Faye and Rana...
Today in all democracy, there is 'Minority privileges' . Minorities especially religious minority like Muslims can get away after doing anything. We have seen multiple examples.
Atleast 4-5 times in a year, we see the news where Hindu is killed by Muslim just because of religious hate still no news media not even so called Pro BJP wing raises the issue but when Muslims die Congress & leftists media make it a national issue, Twitter warriors got active, CZcamsrs got aware.
Imagine could we have ever done what Muslims did in Kashmir or what they did in Kerala with more than 30000 missing Hindu & Christian girls & after doing it whole community get away with it, No one question them.

Communal violence has increased bcoz of insecurity of minorities as bjp is ruling country since decade. At first minorities which are Muslim majority has no interest in countries progress,.they r always concerned abt khuraan etc. they r not even concerned about their own family and their future. It's bcoz Hindu the majority of population still staying in peace so everything is going smooth. If we hindu decide to do violence there will be nothing left like minority. Trust me.

From what I observed Janasangh and now BJP was against appeasement of muslims not against muslims per se. They were against special previleges to them thatare not available to mainstream thus makes muslim stay away from mainstream and stay in ghettos. Added to thier low modern education and low income and being guided by similar religious leaders like moulvis. This made them susceptible to polarisation . And congress used this weakness for thier vite bank politics right from the days of independence by making appeasement as a majortoolti to achieve this. Towards this they painted the bjp as anti minority community which is not. Ironically it is this minority community that is the biggest benificiary of governments' various programmes and social schemes. You go to any government hospitals, ration shops they are visible easily. Anti minority 6is a well built narrative over the decades
