My issue was ankle misalignment, but it's mainly an issue when walking, if I walk much my feet hurt. I suspect it was what caused issue son a ride, I hiked up steep techy section, and suspect I misaligned my feet, bu ti bought ankle braces, my feet hurt for a long time I forgot how long, but with ankle brace it made walking doable without pain. Buy I ride with ankle braces on every ride now.
I've had issues with ankles popping out of place during riding too. So use pedals and put back of the shoe underneath to pop my feet in place. But ankle braces have been a big help to keep my feet stable. I use Space Brace 2.👌 Not had any pain from riding or walking since.
My wrists are also loose, so loose it can hinder braking, so I can use about half of the brake, as finger lock up, as wrists ge misaligned so badly, missed corners due to this, now I can rid fast and not have issues braking before a turn. And no pain. But not over tightening braces is important or it will hurt.

I've never tried this. I use gla tmtb shoes, arch support is not an issue as I use Catalyst pedals, so arch is supported. But shoes that actually fit me does not exist it seems. So I have to up size as I have 11cm feet, so have to go for EU 44. I usr shoes that have stiff mid sole, but flex at the ball of the foot to be good for walking.

Never heard of Catalyst pedals but checked them out online. Seems like a great innovation.

Re: G8 2620s, that's a crazy amount of money for 50 cents of elastomer, I have paid less for custom orthotics

Most custom orthotics in Australia would be in the range of $300 - $450.

Do you think this could relieve pressure in getting from underside of my big toe? I think I pronate, high arch but flexible arch. Wide foot too. I tried carbon rigid arches and others semi rigid but don't seem to work...i recently started feeling this. Long time cyclist. I tried metatarsal pads too...

Not sure if these would help that specific problem. It is hard to make a diagnosis over the internet. I'd suggest see a podiatrist. If you are an "older" rider you may be developing some stiffness in the joints of the big toe preventing upward bending (dorsiflexion).

@@podiumphysio657 thank you for the reply. I'm 42 and I have done the test on my foot, it is strong and flexible. I may have to see a doctor... I'm in Dallas Texas. Thanks for your videos

@@samuraioodon Look I think starting with a doctor is a great idea, rather than dealing with a physio over the internet on the other side of the world! Appreciate you watching and engaging with my content. All the best.
