Thing is, you can judge a level by its gameplay, decoration, originality and all that with a score, but if a level has horrible gameplay, terrible deco, the worst bugs imaginable , accidental frame perfects, impossible on every hz beyond 60 it cant have a better score because it HAS deco right? I think it most comes down to the experience of beating the level.
I once saw a level, couple years ago that was rated hard demon, had completely 1.0 decoration, awful gameplay and robtops face at the end. It wasn't battle of the shades or conical depression and I still can't find it.
I expected to see some of the classic hated levels but this actually was a very deep dive into the dark side of GD featured levels. Very nice video, well done! :)
There’s this level called “Rainbow Orange” by ZelLink, which for some reason ZelLink decided to make a copy of. The original had Dry Out as the song and the copy had Cycles, and the copy’s description was “star root is right” (instead of “star root is easy”) but those were the only differences between the 2. Other than that they were basically the exact same level. For some strange reason, not only did ZelLink decide to upload both of these copies to the server, but RobTop also RATED both of them 3 stars. ZelLink NEVER deleted the copy either, it’s still up and rated to this day. The actual level isn’t bad at all, but just because the copy has zero meaningful difference compared to the original, I’d say it’s a contender for this list. At least he copied his own level and not someone else’s. And from what it seems Dry Out syncs surprisingly well with Cycles. Also if we’re talking about all-time worst rated levels, I feel like you should mention “Clutterfunk v2” by Pizzaroot (then “Player”). Even for it’s time it was terrible and way too short, I’m surprised it ever got a star rating. The level originally got over 60,000 dislikes, then Pizzaroot buffed the level and added on some whole demon-worthy section to the end of it. It reached over 80,000 dislikes before getting deleted from the server. Pizzaroot is the same person who made the 2 star level “Demons” btw
as a fellow atrocious level enjoyer I can confirm that this video doesn’t miss a huge amount of actual candidates well video’d this was a fun watch toxick future showed for a second 😍
There were a lot more candidates I could've included but generally they would've had a lot of the same criticisms and they were cut out of the video for time reasons like Story Madness, Spikemania, and Toxick Future
Im only on the 4th or 5th video and im already subscribed to MatMart. i dont personally play geometry dash or would like to, as its not my type of game. but i think the concept is cool and i enjoy watching these types of videos. Keep up the Great work MatMart!
7:47 It is just a quadratic equation. Using the quadratic formula, we get x = (4+sqrt(16+20))/2 and (4+sqrt(16+20))/2 which equal (4+6)/2 and (4-6)/2 which equal 5 and -1.
I contacted with creator of Sword Dance and made that click the way it was in 2.0, that is, reduced the size of the spike by a couple of pixels. And I verefied level on his account, so this has been fixed already.

I myself tested this click for a very long time and spent about 10.5k on the ufixed version. Found a bunch of strange things like, it can be sometimes easier at 60 fps, or it can even depend on the position where the start pos is located (if you traning on a copy). So maybe even you want to pass this now! :)
I remember that some therealmonster guy made a level 6 years ago called "super fire" or something like that, it was one of the worst levels i've ever seen. I heard he got better and is making a cool layout, but I doubt it since I don't even remember where I heard it.
I cant help but think of a map pack level called Theory of Relativity... It was awful and then an update came out that gave it ever so slightly better decorations and somehow much worse gameplay when it was already one of the worst levels when it came to gameplay.
There is a level called fly me to the moon, there are some worse on this list but the thing is that its featured, I know this video is kinda old but if you see this you should check it out

I actually think StageIX is pretty good. One really bad level you didn't include is Jump Man. It was the second ever rated level so it's tempting to cut it some slack, but then you just can't.
I feel like stuff like Stereo Robot and Invisibe Deadlocked shouldn't count because they're not really trynig to accomplish much other than one simple task and their task is in their names

Russia Madness now had 2.2 effects since Pineapple went and updated the level. It looks a bit better now.
