How do you get this thing going -- Well i tell ya what ah you start it with a whole series of switches on the side over here, and then your gauges give you the percentages of what you need to run and WhatNot and ah then the throttles just give the gas and ah off ya go ! Man that's so COMPLEX not to mention the RPMS !!!!
Turbine engines work off of percentages not throttle, if that makes any sense. You have no throttle. When you engage the prop, it strains the engine, and the turbine engine gets more fuel to sustain its speed for the amount of load. A piston driven engine you control the load and fuel on on 100%. A turbine engine you just control the go and it controls the load and fuel itself. That's my understanding atleast

It's not "RPMs". It's RPM.
Is the turbine somehow coupled to a prop or water jet? Or is it the turbine itself that propels the boat.
They usually run helicopter turbine engines, known as turbo-shaft turbines. So to answer you yes they run props

Thank God (Christ) that I was born in the USA where Christian values allow us to pursue happiness without fear of being beheaded and through Capitalism good ideas & hard work create profits which can be used to build amazing toys like this boat. Yes they are noisy and non economical at low rpm but Turbines are mechanically superior. They can output high horsepower all day. A piston engines starts breaking down as soon as you add high performance modifications.

Maybe this way over my head but I'm missing the part of this boat that is actual "pleasure". So loud you can't talk, closed cockpit, no real cabin. Where is the pleasure part? It's just a fast, pretty, and expensive machine.
