- Kahinikarder Kahinigulo (Stories of the Story Tellers) is a series on Star Sports 1 Bangla to explore the untold, unknown stories of the Story Tellers, namely the Journalists, Columnists & Authors who have been presenting stories of other celebrities to us.
In this series we have Deep Dasgupta former India Test Cricketer, columnist & Cricket Expert on Star Sports, in conversation with Cricket Historian, Author & Commentator on Star Sports Prof. Boria Majumdar, eminent Sports Journalist and Commentator on Star Sports Gautam Bhattacharya and yet another senior and eminent Sports Journalist Debashis Datta who is also a commentator with Star Sports.
In a 2 episode series we celebrate their struggle, journey and success by exploring into their unknown side as they speak of the untold stories, inspiring million others.

দারুন উপভোগ করলাম । তিন সাংবাদিক কেই সাধুবাদ জানাই । দেবাশিস দত্তের লেখা পড়ে কৈশোর পেরিয়েছি । গৌতম ভট্টাচার্য্য র লেখার কোনো তুলনা হয় না। আজকালে সুনীল গাভাস্কারের কলমে অনেকবার নেভিল কার্ডাসের নাম শুনেছি । কার্ডাসের লেখা পড়িনি । কিন্তু গৌতম ভট্টাচার্য্যর লেখা পড়েছি .... বার বার মনে হয়েছে ক্রিকেট প্রতিবেদন পড়ছি না , ক্রিকেট সাহিত্য পড়ছি । ওনার পদ্মশ্রী পাওয়া উচিৎ

Grew up reading Goutam da and Debasish da. Goutam da, Debasish da and Boria da made our city Kolkata proud. I will always remain cherish meeting them personally. All three are gem of person. Thank You for your phenomenal contribution to the sports community.

Goutam Bhattacharya, the great KUYOR BANG, who has been ridiculously exaggerating & advertising a sport called cricket which is nothing sport outside sub'-continent & glorified cricketers who are useless outside sub'-continent & has successfully oiled sourav ganguly with galon galon oil in his entire career.. We need true reporter who will cover india in true global event & true indian global stars.
You are certainly entitled to your comments. Love it or hate it, cricket may not be played outside the subcontinent (in that sense), but cricket has the LARGEST FOLLOWING of any sports in the world - close second to football. Just add the 1 billion supporters from India alone. Therefore you see the largest international broadcasters make a beeline. My views of Goutam Bhattacharya is somewhat different. Age-wise he is my contemporary. In today’s age (with passing away of most older sportswriters) he and Debashis Dutta have been writing about cricket for 40 long years and certainly deserves respect. Abraham Lincoln was polishing his shoes one day, and his rival Ulysses Grant quipped “Oh, Mr. Lincoln, I see you are polishing your shoes!”. Lincoln said, “Well, Mr. Grant I polishing MY shoes, whose do YOU polish”. That is the question, whose shoes do you polish?
